Taking a look only at the games since Phil took charge. We could potentially be on 34 points if we win our 2 games in hand, and their GD is boosted from the 6-0 sheep game. We've definitely been the better team since October and with a squad that's been down to the barebones for most of it. We'll need to see how things look after January.

He should have given a foul for us before our first goal, but he let the play go. That's why we scored.

He didn't play advantage. He stared at the clear foul on Tillman with his arms down by his side as if nothing had happened. Same as he had done almost every other time we were fouled.

  3. I always enjoy listening to his interviews. Must've listened to his RB Leipzig post match about 20 times. The guy always speaks very well, so it's no surprise that he's given us such a classy goodbye message. Personally I would have given him a another year extension but it wasn't to be, I hope he finds a new club very soon. All the best to him and his family.

Can’t see Lowry being here much longer, not sure why you would stay when the least effective player we’ve got in Scott Wright gets a game ahead of you.

Have we just given up trying to get Lowry to stay?  Can't think of any other reason why he wouldn't be in the team selected...

Lowry just recently returned from injury and got a bad knock in the Glasgow Cup semi's 4 days ago. Looked a sore one, needed treatment on the pitch and almost went off but got through the rest of game albeit he didn't look entirely comfortable. Likely he's picked up a minor foot injury and this game has come too soon.

  5. Bit of a slow start but we've grew into the game and were the better team for the last 25-30 minutes of that half.

What a hit son. Who is the players to look out for here? Obviously Lowry.

Was looking forward to seeing Weston, 2nd highest scorer in the Lowland League with 21 goals. McCann has been decent as well and unlucky not to score. Seen Ross McCausland's name mentioned a lot but don't know a lot about him, took his goal well.

Mate. You are trying way too hard.

For clarity I’m not wanting us to call anything out. I couldn’t care less.

until we have full time referees and VAR in place I care not a jot

It's really not hard. Took less time than making my coffee.

The VAR vote is today, It'll most likely get rejected but let's see what happens.

So it was 100% mulvaney on this side? If so the club needs to ask questions about him.

You can see Mulvanny to the left of Madden as they leave the tunnel at the start of the video, but he's to the right side of the dugouts/match camera. He stays on the right side of the pitch for the rest of the match. His boots are all black, Potter's are black and white. Skip forward to 4:04 and you can see him standing beside Jota at a corner in the 2nd half.

He is a cheat with a catalog of unbelievable "mistakes" against us, but as @KeyserSoze says, the club won't say or do anything.

Their tears are wonderful today. Madden won us the game is the narrative.

Never mind the Hatate goal at Parkhead that should have been chopped off because of a head collision, the 2 penalty claims at Tannadice or when's he's awarding them a free kick for nothing which leads to their goal.

He won us the game because he didn't book Lundstram..

He had no problem stopping the game 2 or 3 times yesterday when they had someone laying down in their box. Even giving us a drop ball right on the edge of their box after killing our scoring opportunity and allowing them to get set up behind the ball. Imagine that.

Also not seen it being mentioned but Ralston coming on to replace that wee diving plastic hardman at RB and then being switched over to LB because Kent was tearing him apart. Wasn't he the "best RB in the country" a few months ago?

Can't believe that fud doing comms reckons that McGregor shouldn't have been booked for trying to trip Kent, but seemed to think every Rangers tackle was a booking

Seen some idiots saying Roofe should have been sent off for the foul on that wee baldy tramp because he didn't try to play the ball, but when McGregor does the exact same thing to Kent they say it shouldn't even be a yellow.

  10. We've seen that type of first half shambles too many times and it's a million miles away from being good enough. Midfield was completely missing for the entire first half, looked like we were playing a 5-0-1. Front 3 are motionless and have no desire to get on the ball and then we rack up near 80% possession from sideways passes between Goldson, Helander and Bassey who themselves are often struggling with just the basics. Against a team who have any football ability of note that match would have been over by half-time. Dundee could have scored more if they weren't only interested in time wasting. Serious questions need to be asked in that dressing room.

That does my tits in as well.

If you foul someone in the box it doesn't even matter where the ball is, as long as it's in play it's a pen.

Kent's looking for it tbh, it's now part of the modern game. Leave your leg in and wait for contact. Defender fell for it and although it's really soft it's still a pen.

Exactly. You can't just hang out a leg and trip cunts up in the box when they're running past you, moreso if the ball isn't even there to be won. It's 100% a penalty. It was lazy defending.

“Expected goals on target (or xGOT) measures the likelihood of an on-target shot resulting in a goal, based on the combination of the underlying chance quality (xG) and the end location of the shot within the goalmouth.”

Tavs pen was given a score of 1.0, the highest score, 0% save probability.

Their pen was given a .99, or 1% save probability

Obviously It means nothing but I saw this on twitter from OptaAnalyst. Excluding the penalty it looks like they had 2 big contributors to their xG. I think the large one inside our 6 yard box is the follow up shot after they hit the crossbar from range? The shot that was easily blocked by Bassey. The other one next to the penalty spot, I think that was the weak effort from when their striker stretched to reach a cross from the left and shagger saved it comfortably just before half time. Apparently our only good scoring chance was the ball smacking off Goldson at the backpost and going out for a goal kick. Utter nonsense.
