Thinking positively I'd like to think someone else can get something out of these players . Yes , I know . However , they have come from pretty good teams so you've got to think they have something somewhere.
The League Cup is a must - we've got a golden opportunity for that with only 2 games to play .
Get a result tomorrow and you've got to fancy our chances of progressing in Europe with two more home games .
The Scottish Cup is always an opportunity and if the new manager can get a run , who knows .
That leaves the league . A good result at p......d and the unthinkable could be thinkable . As I said , thinking positively .
Minimum I'm expecting - LC winners , next round in Europe and a visible improvement as the season moves on .
Good post mate.
That sums it up for me also ... no illusions at all .... but still think we have a chance to turn it around now that MB has left as this has cleared the air somewhat .... though still a lot to do.
Also this squad of players must now know that they have to buck up and fast as the support will no longer tolerate the mediocracy that has brought us to this horrible position.
Feeling more positive about tomorrow now and hope I'm not wrong .... If Davis and Co can steady the ship until the inevitable new guy comes in then there is a way forward.

Add to the fact that Davis and McGregor left the building at the end of last season too and there's no more Walter Smith about the place and John Greig doesn't get around the stadium as often anymore either, then there's a big gap where true Rangers voices can let the players know what's expected of them.
I'd like to think Alex Rae can provide that at least.
Top post mate.
I know the game has changed drastically over the years ... especially the amount of different nationalities now being in the majority in our team.
Although they are young and untried ..... it's quite encouraging when you look at the interim management team that they are all Rangers men from birth and know what's required of them.
Really hope they do well and get the results we badly need .... no easy task for them I know .... but we have to be positive and hope for the best.

I've just found out I'm probably getting made redundant the morra and this thread the last half an hour is still the worst part of my day.
FFS mate .... bit of a blow that .... hope its not long before you get another placement .... keep on keeping on.

Davis for me is at least familiar with all that we stand for as a huge Club .... and Rae is of the same metal.
I wish them all the best and hope they make a go of their interim appointments .... but I am under no illusions they are anywhere near what we really need to get back to the top.
I also haven't a clue who would be the best candidate going forward.

I think he’ll get binned tomorrow at the latest. Has to. I’d love to know how many fans actually think he should be given more time.

I am definitely one of the many fans who think he should be given more time .... by more time ..... I mean more fucking jail time mate.

They've certainly questions to answer , not sure I'd go as far as sacking them.
Certainly some strange decisions regarding managers these lsdt few years . Even Gerrard was a gamble , despite him winning 55 .
You can certainly say that again and again and again mate.

Don’t have any special info but I assumed some of that was down to residual politics of failed potential takeovers and Rangers First / RST / Club 72.
That is as near to the truth as you could get mate .... tumultuous times back then .... seems unreal when you look back ... with great posters like Eskbank and even D'Artagnan copping flack.

Sad news indeed .... deepest condolences to his family and friends.
Football is a very precarious profession and Jim was unjustifiably on the wrong side of that equation after Berwick and deserved much better from our Club.
Another great player has passed and I am just glad that I had the pleasure to see him play.
Thanks for the memories Jim.

Deepest condolences to family and friends at this sad time.
From an "alleged" player who only kicked the way he was facing ..... to a skilful and dependable defender for Club and country.
Just glad to have seen him play under both descriptions .... and in both teams.

On his second half showing yesterday he looks promising.
As long as he stays fit and get's played in the correct area this can be only be a good thing for the team.
Time will tell.

It is not too bad mate, could be much worse so not complaining, but cold wet days/nights just made it a bit too uncomfortable, also with the walk back to the car, and decided to become a RTV VPN fan.
Hope all is well with you.
Sorry to hear you are not keeping well Bud .... Had a bad couple of extremely serious bouts of (diagnosed) osteoarthritis about 18 months ago affecting my big toe joints at different times .... couldn't walk or drive without extreme pain.
Got prescribed antibiotics which helped .... long story short I came about a remedy that is working just fine for me and I have not had a bit of pain since.
It is called Moringa powder .... totally natural but effective ..... its inexpensive and readily available on E-Bay and worth a go.
Hope this helps mate.

Champions league last 16 ..... Europa winners ..... Domestic league won by Xmas .... Win both cups to complete treble .... complete the season undefeated.
If MB does not manage to meet my expectations then he should be hounded out of Scotland never to show his face here ever again.
Now that I have got my perfect season out of the way by means of waking up from a dream come true dream ..... I would love us to win the Domestic league at minimum for it to be a successful season.

It’s a relay swim so he’ll do a spell and then someone else will take a turn. He won’t swim the full 21 miles.
Still a huge effort and his name alone has probably doubled the money raised.
Complete hero.
👏👏👏
Indeed mate,
The tally has went from ± £200,000 to ±£322,000 since yesterday ..... so I think GS being involved is the trump card that will swing to the positive for DEBRA and get well needed recognition and funds that will help the people who are suffering from EB.
I will repeat your description of the magnificent bastard ... "Complete Hero" indeed.

These people make me proper sick ..... Three poxy years ?...... What about the over a century of all leagues in Scotland that our Club's support alone has helped with indirect sponsorship then?
Come here and get what they wanted and the first time they are rightfully challenged .... they run like the wind ..... good riddance.
But blame The Rangers for spoiling it all ..... that sounds so familiar ....
