Totally agree.
Could understand if we regularly scored from corners but they're shit . And when did we last score from a free kick ?
I'd add that we can't shoot without having to stop the ball first . How many scoring opportunities do we pass up because we can't shoot first time .
Spot on mate ... its the biggest ballbreaker for me .... with Alfredo on form he is the one who can do the business ... but sadly he has been abysmal for too long now .... how I miss someone like McCoist (and others of the past .... too many to mention) ..... deadly in all aspects of what a dead cert reliable striker should be.

Missed by so many for all he did for us ... a statue in his honour is very fitting and well deserved.
GBNF Walter .... and now your memory will be justly set in stone.

Even when you know it is inevitable .... whenever one of our favourites passes over ..... it still hurts.
Like many we have had .... Jimmy was one of a kind .... from solid half back to prominent lethal striker he shone above many who have come and gone .... it was a pleasure to have witnessed his time at Ibrox.
Deepest sympathies to his surviving family and friends.

Out of all of the injured players .... none of them had the presence and ability that Lawrence brought to our game .... bar possibly Lowry ..... for forward energy and creativity.
Tom is the one that is missed the most though and would have boosted our chances against Liverpool.
Still we are where we are .... I just hope we put on our better Euro form tonight and get a result.
On paper it looks like a long shot .... but I live in hope we will perform well and our key players hit form tonight.

I understand what you are saying as I agree the whole social media seems to have people criticising the monarchy, including in England. The political left are turning it into an issue as if the monarchy are the cause of all the ills of the working man.
Good post mate.
Concerning the emphasised words ..... these same "people with strong opinions" are more likely than not to be cringeworthy arseholes in the real world ..... who wouldn't say boo to a goose if they were confronted face to face on their twisted opinions by one solitary member of the silent majority.
Social media is the place where cowards can become heroes and legends in their own lunch hour ... thank God we can choose to evict them from our minds with the flick of a switch .... they don't matter.

The words you have used are wonderful mate, we have watched it all in our hotel room (BBC) from 10 am to 6pm Spanish time.
We British are masters at these occasions and it was truly such a magnificent send off for such an outstanding woman, our dear late Queen.
So many moments that stood out but it really was the whole thing put together in such an impeccable way that swells your heart with pride.
To live all our lives under Queen Elizabeth II has been an honour and I believe Charles will do his very best to carry on in her footsteps.
God save the King. 🇬🇧
Can't disagree with you Bud ..... beyond proud .... She will be truly missed indeed.

I am lost for words at the magnificence of this pageant in honour of Her majesty's passing.
I am lost for words to describe the the enormity of importance Her majesty's life and the Crown has played in our nation and the world beyond our shores.
I am lost for words to convey my sorrow at Her majesty's passing.
I am lost for words other than Her Majesty will live in our hearts forever ..... may She rest in peace and never be forgotten.
Long Live The King.

Written a wee note attached to the flowers which says ‘thank you for everything, your memory will live on.’ Going to be an emotional day.
Very fitting selection indeed Ali ..... She softened our hearts being the flower amid us thorny Scots and made us all ... from Lands End to John 'O' Groats ... proud to be British.
Deepest condolences to all who grieve and survive Her.

To be brutally honest, it puts the fear of god into them for giving bad decisions against us, knowing that they will be scrutinised and put under a microscope for weeks.
It means we should get less bad decisions against us, and even probably benefit from getting away with shit that we deserve to be punished for. Completely unfair, but exactly what the other side have been doing for years to a clearly obvious benefit.
I would settle for things just being fair, but as long as we just bend over and take things without applying pressure, the less fear in the refs to continue giving decisions against us that we should get.
The options seem to be dont complain and get bad decisions against us or kick up hell and maybe get fair decisions against us and possibly some to our advantage that we dont deserve.
I would rather we did the second.
On 22/08/2022 at 13:35, mitre_mouldmaster said:I used to think the same, until that period where they put unreal pressure on the refs, and then started to get every fucking decision going.
Ever since they have hardly been shy about putting pressure on them, and think they get far more lenient treatment for it.
Two top posts mate ..... direct and factual on both occasions ..... advantageous to the scum and they are still reaping the "rewards" the fuckers.
lest We forget.

Definitely looks a good signing for us .... going by the videos of past performances especially Malmo ...
including against us unfortunately.
looks really strong and composed under pressure with both feet and heading ability .... also seems to be in the right spot at the right time which is obviously ideal and what anyone would expect of a striker .... also he is able to deliver some tasty assists allowing others to add to the goal threat .... with Morelos most likely being the beneficiary of this asset and hopefully getting back to breaking Club and European records once more.
Only time will tell of course but hopefully he does the business for us .... and when Alfredo is match fit again .... we have a duo who can compliment each other and get us off our seats and the net bursts on a regular basis.
My only cautionary note is that he is fit and robust and not prone to injury .... other than that .... welcome to our Club.

Great player for us and for Scotland (when I was once proud to support them) ..... will never forget his part in the game against England when Caldow got his leg broken and davie moved from left wing to left back ... and played a blinder.
Sad to hear of his passing .... and convey my deepest condolences to his family and friends.

AAAHHHHH!!!!! ....... so relieved and glad we ended this season on a high .... onwards and upwards for the coming season ..... I hope Gio gets all the backing required to set out his own stall and gets us over the line in the majority of competitions (main one for me the league) and an another great European money earning campaign.
God bless The Rangers and all who Follow Follow them.

Anyway, Go Bears Go in the 3.10pm Haydock and 3-1 to the Rangers for a decent double
The closer to Kick-off time more Bears will be of the same mindset as above ..... I have no doubt ..... same as I have no doubt Tav will lift the SC today.
I am looking for this mob to take the brunt of our feelings of Wednesday and give all who Follow us a wee bit of respite.

Good post Mate ....
Not many will feel like you do at this time mate ..... or be able to rebound back so quickly after a hammer blow like last night ..... so close yet so far .... is how I see it .... but like your good self I am fortunate to be of a similar disposition ..... still not happy ... but still looking forward to lifting the cup on Saturday.
To put this Euro final into perspective .... I too have had in the past and will probably have in the future experienced worse moments than last night ... and God knows I still cannot explain my never say die attitude .... but all part of life's great pageant I suppose .... I genuinely feel for all who feel otherwise and totally understand the mood of our support and can only say .... it will pass ....and we will definitely be moving on to more successes in the future.
Following The Rangers over the years I have been through all 5 of our Euro finals and the inaugural Champions League debacle .... not to mention the true tragedy of the 1971 Ibrox disaster .... plus their only real 9 IAR and our demotion to the lowest leagues .... but we never said never and we never surrendered then .... we never died as they wanted us to do .... because even on our knees we still managed to look down on them with the knowledge of being stronger than the lot of them .... and with that strength we continue to be The Most successful Football Club In The World.
Long winded post I know know .... but after the fallout is over we will continue to Follow our team through thick and thin ..... fuck what any other shower of shite support think about us .... We Are still The People.

I hope that they fully understand what this means for us, and I'm sure they do. 10 years ago, everyone and his dog outside of Ibrox, wanted us dead. They had us fighting for our very existence. Well, here we are. Here we are on one of the biggest platforms in world football, 90 minutes from glory. I say gory, but in my eyes, we've already won! Every day that we exist kills those who tried to kill us. But fuck them......they aren't the focus. It's all about us, and what we do. Coming from the bottom tier of Scottish Football to a major European final in 10 years is a mind blowing achievement. No matter the outcome tonight, we have done an incredible thing by just getting here. The players just have to concentrate on their game, just give it there all. Leave nothing on the pitch, and we have a great chance, a chance to write yet more history for our marvelous club!
That said, INTAE THESE CUNTS, RANGERS!!! COME ON!!!!!!!!!
Excellent post mate ..... covers all areas .... the battle fever is coming on fast now.

Been a rough couple of months personally and not a lot has made me smile to be honest.
Getting to this final has been one of things that has made me smile. For someone with not a lot of optimism left Rangers has been about the only thing I've had this feeling with. I knew that we would beat red bull and I know that we will win tonight. I can feel it in my bones. There will be tense moments obviously but do not doubt this is our trophy.
Good honest post mate ..... tonights victory will blow all the past shit away and set you back on a positive course .... so good luck to you and the famous tonight.

...... some condescending to say the least.
For me personally .... this genuinely heartfelt letter from our greatest Ranger should have been all the board needed to do .... as most remember or know what Big John was on about and the consequences for Rangers that happened when the overzealous Spanish Keystone Cops waded in with glee on our support back then ..... who were only doing what was done on many occasions back then .... plus there were no Russian fans in the stadium to cause the cops rivalry concerns due to them being refused travel permits in the USSR and the Cold War .... therefore no need for the cops to so violent towards a jubilant and benign support only wanting to congratulate their triumphant team.
We now have a situation where Eintracht also have a potentially large travelling support and this is the big difference as far as potential trouble occurring ..... and considering that in 1972 we served an effective 1 year ban (was originally 2 years) from playing in Europe I believe this to be the main message from John Greig .... and to be very careful of the slack Spanish constabulary provoking unrest.
Rangers suffered badly from this incident back then and hopefully we won't lose out on Wednesday as this time the rewards of winning this trophy are way way more valuable to our Club ..... and not just money wise either.
