Great player for us and for Scotland (when I was once proud to support them) ..... will never forget his part in the game against England when Caldow got his leg broken and davie moved from left wing to left back ... and played a blinder.
Sad to hear of his passing .... and convey my deepest condolences to his family and friends.

AAAHHHHH!!!!! ....... so relieved and glad we ended this season on a high .... onwards and upwards for the coming season ..... I hope Gio gets all the backing required to set out his own stall and gets us over the line in the majority of competitions (main one for me the league) and an another great European money earning campaign.
God bless The Rangers and all who Follow Follow them.

Anyway, Go Bears GoΒ in the 3.10pm Haydock and 3-1 to the Rangers for a decent doubleΒ
The closer to Kick-off time more Bears will be of the same mindset as above ..... I have no doubt ..... same as I have no doubt Tav will lift the SC today.
I am looking for this mob to take the brunt of our feelings of Wednesday and give all who Follow us a wee bit of respite.

Good post Mate ....
Not many will feel like you do at this time mate ..... or be able to rebound back so quickly after a hammer blow like last night ..... so close yet so farΒ .... is how I see it .... but like your good self I am fortunate to be of a similar disposition ..... still not happy ... but still looking forward to lifting the cup on Saturday.
To put this Euro final into perspective .... I too have had in the past and will probably have in the future experienced worse moments than last night ... and God knows I still cannot explain my never say die attitude .... but all part of life's great pageant I suppose .... I genuinely feel for all who feel otherwise and totally understand the mood of our support and can only say .... it will pass Β ....and we will definitely Β be moving on to more successes in the future.
Following The Rangers over the years I have been through all 5 of our Euro finals and the inaugural Champions League debacle .... not to mention the true tragedy of the 1971 Ibrox disaster .... plus their only real 9 IAR and our demotion to the lowest leagues .... but we never said never and we never surrendered then .... we never died as they wanted us to do .... because even on our knees we still managed to look down on them with the knowledge of being stronger than the lot of them .... and with that strength we continue to be The Most successful Football Club In The World.
Long winded post I know know .... but after the fallout is over we will continue to Follow our team through thick and thin ..... fuck what any other shower of shite support think about us .... We Are still The People.

I hope that they fully understand what this means for us, and I'm sure they do. 10 years ago, everyone and his dog outside of Ibrox, wanted us dead. They had us fighting for our very existence. Well, here we are. Here we are on one of the biggest platforms in world football, 90 minutes from glory. I say gory, but in my eyes, we've already won! Every day that we exist kills those who tried to kill us. But fuck them......they aren't the focus. It's all about us, and what we do. Coming from the bottom tier of Scottish Football to a major European final in 10 years is a mind blowing achievement. No matter the outcome tonight, we have done an incredible thing by just getting here. The players just have to concentrate on their game, just give it there all. Leave nothing on the pitch, and we have a great chance, a chance to write yet more history for our marvelous club!Β
That said, INTAE THESE CUNTS, RANGERS!!!Β COME ON!!!!!!!!!

Been a rough couple of months personally and not a lot has made me smile to be honest.
Getting to this final has been one of things that has made me smile. For someone with not a lot of optimism left Rangers has been about the only thing I've had this feeling with. I knew that we would beat red bull and I know that we will win tonight. I can feel it in my bones. There will be tense moments obviously but do not doubt this is our trophy.
Β
Good honest post mate ..... tonights victory will blow all the past shit away and set you back on a positive course .... so good luck to you and the famous tonight.

Gio said that it is much cooler in the evening mate .... they were all out for a walk through the stadium last night .... he reckons that the heat will not be a problem once the adrenaline kicks in .... so hopefully not a factor tomorrow.

...... some condescending to say the least.
Β For me personally .... this genuinely heartfelt letter from our greatest Ranger should have been all the board needed to do .... as most remember or know what Big John was on about and the consequences for Rangers that happened when the overzealous Spanish Keystone Cops waded in with glee on our support back then ..... who were only doing what was done on many occasions back then .... plus there were no Russian fans in the stadium to cause the cops rivalry concerns due to them being refused travel permits in the USSR and the Cold War .... therefore no need for the cops to so violent towards a jubilant and benign support only wanting to congratulate their triumphant team.
We now have a situation where Eintracht also have a potentially large travelling support and this is the big difference as far as potential trouble occurring ..... and considering that in 1972 we served an effective 1 year ban (was originally 2 years) from playing in Europe I believe this to be the main message from John Greig .... and to be very careful of the slack Spanish constabulary provoking unrest.
Rangers suffered badly from this incident back then and hopefully we won't lose out on Wednesday as this time the rewards of winning this trophy are way way more valuable to our Club ..... and not just money wise either.

Without disruption to the wider community...
So suppose it'll be nothing like the supposed 100,000 marching through the City Centre for Independence...closing most of the City for a day
Or any of the films/bike races which happen regularly, again closing main parts of the City and causing a nightmare to people working during the day.
But an 8pm game on a Wednesday night might be too tough for them...
Good points mate ...... since 2012 the bitterness has Β risen beyond recognition in this country.

But from the lowest leagues to the EL final this present Rangers team above are worth their weight in gold ... and will prove it on the 18th of May when they are triumphant and lift the trophy ... I genuinely believe this will happen.
Every fucking club in Scotland and every fucking pundit Β ... from top to bottom ... should be paying homage to them as we have saved their arses yet again and put Scottish football back on the map by increasing the coefficient way beyond anything previously done by any other club.
Our story could not have been written by the best screen writers .... and would be classed as fiction if it was .... but this season .... our 150th .... will be proof of the pudding that it is a true rags to riches story that deserves all the accolades that come their way ... this team of underdogs have shown they are a force to be reckoned with .... it makes you proud to witness their achievements and even more proud to be part of this rollercoaster that is The Rangers Football Club.
