RikkiMiller 87
What on earth is going on with this starting eleven?
scarkev 3,540
5 players out of position today! Absolute chaos!
SwallowsHisOwnSpunk 7,798
McCoist isn't and never will be a succesfull manager he is proving time and time again that he doesn't have a clue what he is doing and worst of all he never seems to learn from his mistakes. The Monk 3,207
Did Faure not play in midfield in a cup game earlier in the season?Yeh he wasn't bad there but not as comfortable as he would be at CB and an actual CM playing CM. Adds bite to the midfield but his mobility and passing isn't fantastic tbh
JRodgA2k8 542
Did Faure not play in midfield in a cup game earlier in the season?Yeah...and had one of his best performances, still it's square pegs in round holes, I'll never understand our selection policy. skinnymate1690 625
lets see how things go , doesnt look great on paper but we wanted changes and got them so i'm prepared to give it a chance before moaning
bluenose_72 198
I suspect Jig and Faure will swap positions at some point.
Blue Forever 179
I suspect Jig and Faure will swap positions at some point.McCulloch in midfield is even worse than Faure in midfield. I cannot fathom what the thought process behind that line-up was.
JRodgA2k8 542
I suspect Jig and Faure will swap positions at some point.Start of the game perhaps? Seriously perplexed with again putting Hegarty out at RB...he offers nothing going forward and our top scorer is out on the wing again...woohoo! The Monk 3,207
I love the guy and will probably get criticism for this but I just don't think Jig is good enough despite a good goal tally, he slows our game down and I can't stand seeing him being accommodated in the team despite his performances. bluenose_72 198
Argyriou has been bad the past few games, if you are going to drop him then Hegarty is the best of a bad bunch to replace him.I think we will look like this today -AlexanderHegarty Jig Cribari WallaceBlack FaureLittle Crawford AirdSandaza
Jamie0202 12,281
I can't work that team out at all.Jig - With the order of the line up, looks like he is playing at the back, but then Faure is supposed to be a centre half.Faure - As above, is he really in midfield? He made his debut for us in midfield if I remember correctly. I hope the centre of the park doesn't have just Black and Faure because I don't think either of them thinks fast enough. Looking at the bench though I don't think Ally has much choice for centre midfield. Where is Hutton? We all heard the rumours at the start of the season when he wasn't getting a game. He hasn't even made the bench. Is there a problem?Little - Right mid again? Not being too critical, just confused. All will hopefully make sense in 25 mins.Edit - Just read the official site and it all makes sense. Even answered my question on Hutton.http://www.rangersfc.co.uk/news/headlines/item/3551-four-changes-for-gers
SwallowsHisOwnSpunk 7,798
McCulloch in midfield is even worse than Faure in midfield. I cannot fathom what the thought process behind that line-up was.McCoist wanted tochange things up and make it look like he was giving the players a boot up the arse, but at the same time he couldn't bring himselfto drop his favourites that need to be dropped so he rearanges the whole team just to fit his pals in. Amac9 2,060
Expecting the usual dire performance here.A CM pairing of Black and Faure has absolutely no creativity.

bluenose_72 198
We could also switch to a 4-4-2 if Little goes up front and Crawford out wide. But Crawford is not a winger and has looked lost there anytime I have seen him, so that wouldn't be a good option.
bubblybear 258
FGS! if Ally and the team read this thread before they went out, according to some , they shouldn't even bother turning up?
ianb1547 3,767
Looks like Im the only one that thinks we will score 4..including Sandaza getting one.Happy days
kaiser1041 9,088
DARREN COLE WHERE ARE YOUinjured still. Baffled by team selection its up to the players to prove me wrong.
MasterD 7,435
Argyriou might offer more width going forward than Hegarty but defensively he is rotten, we have been terrible at the back so he's looked to tighten up the back. I reckon it will often play as a back 3 with Wallace pushing forward.
OlegKuznetsov 10,816
Going by that line up, injuries have influenced team selection quite drastically in certain areas.
BlueAvenger 10,242
I wouldnt play Hegarty at right back or Faure in midfield.Strange line up...but heres hoping its better than last week !!
OneDavidCooper 2,505
Just cannot understand the omission of Hutton with Black retained.Senseless.
