It's a start but we need a lot more. Once the final pieces are signed and in place I'll loosen up and look forward to things.

True, but as they progressed maybe they didn't give him as much of a raise, who knows. I know you will laugh, but Football Manager is actually a really accurate database and that has him at like £11k so I wasn't far off

He's a better talent than Zelalem and he's probably on 8-9k
now then forever 298
Really surprised people aren't more excited about this signing tbh. Looks exactly what we need. And is a really good coup from MW to land him imo. Hopefully, we can get Rossiter back fit during the winter break too. Turnberry18

Came to Arsenal from Barcelona's academy with Bellerin and was extremely highly rated. Done well for Brentford, Birmingham's player of the year in the Championship and played a few games in la Liga with Granada. Over 6 ft, only 21 and got a decent scoring record too. Looking forward to seeing him! For where we are right now, looks potentially a great signing. rangersfcwatp1990
BridgeIsBlue 66,606
This is the thing that really annoys me about loan deals, this guy could go on to be our best player this season then what happens once he leaves in the summer?

BlueSuedeSambas 53,785
I think people hoping for three new midfielders in this window are going to be left dissapointed. Toral will hopefully come in and I would like to hope a more defensively minded one will too but with Halliday, Holt & Windass still at the club and unlikely to be moving on I think that will be it. Popular Post Smile 26,606
LOAN RANGER Rangers boss Mark Warburton clinches loan move for Arsenal midfield ace Jon Toral The 21-year-old is a graduate of the Barcelona academy on Toral could be at Ibrox by Sunday Granada are due to play Real Madrid on Saturday, but it’s unclear yet if Toral, who starred for Gers gaffer Mark Warburton at Brentford, will be involved in the side for a possible farewell appearance. However, it’s believed the Gunners, who last season also loaned Gedion Zelalem to Rangers, have agreed for Toral, 21, to head to Glasgow for the start of next week. Toral’s agreement is purely to the end of the season. It is expected he could make his Gers debut in Germany, in the friendly against Red Bull Leipzig on January 15. The former Barcelona academy graduate, who last season also shone for Birmingham in the Championship, was keen to be reunited with Ibrox boss Warburton as soon as he became aware of the Light Blues’ interest. Gers boss Mark Warburton managed the Spaniard at Brentford Toral has only made six appearances for Granada but he has featured against the likes of Barca, Valencia and Villarreal this season. Toral has been targeted after Gers lost Niko Kranjcar to injury and let Joey Barton leave. Jordan Rossiter’s debut season has also been wrecked by injury, while Matt Crooks and Josh Windass have also endured fitness problems. Muz333 359
I hope he's good. If he is I hope being a loan he doesn't sign for someone else at the end of the season! Certainly can't be any worse than our current midfield!

Bit of a glass half empty way of looking at it. If he is good and if we can't sign him permanently for whatever reason, then at least we've had him for 6 months. We can only hope he's filling a gap until the close season then some more permanent solutions will be forthcoming. If that is the case, better to fill the gap with a good player than a bad one. Inigo 32,526
Well, I don't know if he's good or bad, but we need a creative midfielder, so at least it's hope. Sounds the part from what people say about him, at least.
