His excuse about the cup final that we were tired and spent does not cut it.I haven’t actually heard him blame that before. Hibs had been through the same season as us and just off the back of 6 play off games. We had 3 weeks to prepare for the game. The players shut off mentally after the celtic game.

Gave us the great win over celtic as a first division Rangers team - however, found out at Premiership level.

Yes but blew the effect of the semi final win by fxxking up to Hibs in the final. Completely negated beating the tarriers for me.

How was it his fault, that team was miles better than hibs and we had the lead with 10 to go, no his fault they shat the bed

Decent watch. Wish they would have talked more about Barton though.

Judging by his absence during the signing announcement, and a complete black out on the media from him at the time (to get his coaching badges in Israel, I believe) - I got the feeling he didn't want him here, sadly which came to head for us.

After watching it all he did speak some sense.

But Ferry didn't question him enough on specific issues. Warburton mentions defensive errors in the Cup Final but Ferry didn't hone in on that in the bigger picture, which is something we'd all want to hear his opinion on.

I believe that he would have done far better with more money and in hindsight the sentiment of the 'Going for 55' is actually correct.

But there's something just a bit soft about him which I don't think you can show up here if you're an OF Manager. You need arrogance (not ignorance) and at some points you need to be disrespectful. Warburton just wasn't cut out for that aspect.

I think if given the money he would have done as well as we are doing now, you have to remember he got very little money. His football was decent to watch if a bit too attack minded.

Aye for the first 12 or so games until teams figured us out. We were horrendous and predictable to watch for the majority of time he was with us in my opinion.

Rangers have always been easy to figure out, why you think walter was so shite in europe in his first spell, only time i seen Rangers unpredictable was under eck and thats because we didnt even know what team would show up

As for warburton, for a team that was figured out after 12 games we finished the season winning 25 of our league games, only losing 5 and a gd of +54,
