First competitive game  of the season, away from home against a team Gerrard has struggled with.

We will have to improve upfront and midfield we are rotten, Balogun looks decent but it will be a long hard season unless we improve striking options amd middle of the park.

Pretty happy with that. Grinding out a win is something we’ve struggled with under Gerrard. It’s something we will need to do to win the league. No chance for overconfidence after that performance, but 3 points moving on to the next.
