They have pushed well above their level for some time, looks like the wheels are starting to fall off them now. From a Scottish perspective Romania winning the group will remove Russia into Pot 3 (Scotland's WC draw pot) - a nasty fixture if drawn.

Scotland are a poor team. We had a decent wee run of games but we never looked a decent side at any point. Even though we controlled the game against Serbia we never looked that dangerous. They looked much more threatening for the last 15 minutes of the 90 and then in extra time that we did at any point in the game. Impotent is probably the best word to describe it.

Poor defending, and seem to be want to try and walk the ball into the net - should be peppering that Israel goal with more shots. Looks like they are throwing this away now.

Utter pish. Can’t wait for tonight to be over so we can concentrate on proper football.

Just goes to prove the plaudits for Clarke were well OTT. We scraped through to the Euros via the back door after two draws and some good penalties. Can’t beat Israel, sums it up.

Did well to qualify etc but the teams they played in this 9 game unbeaten run were abysmal on average.
