If they want to breakaway, follow through with kicking clubs out of their league's and banning players from national tournaments. Let them have their closed off league and the rest of football can carry on without them. Unfortunately I still fully expect these associations and Uefa will find a middle ground. UEFA will try and come across as the good guys but they are equally to blame. They have ruined the Champions League. It has become a predictable borefest. The set up means only a handful can realistically lift that trophy. Teams like the Old Firm, Ajax, Benfica etc are steeped in history but it matters fuck all to the rich. Alex Ferguson said it correctly when he mentioned playing in Europe with Dunfermline then winning it coaching Aberdeen and four times in the final with Man U. Those dreams are gone.
