Won't be happening but we should be all over absolutely every government official lobbying to make this a test event

That's immediately what the ECB did for the cricket series and the Government approved it. Lords full capacity today, Edgbaston 80% on Tuesday. That's 30k in today, 19k on Tues. No social distancing required.

Not sure where you are getting that..........Ā

https://www.edinburghnews.scotsman.com/sport/football/hearts/how-many-fans-are-allowed-at-hearts-v-celtic-tynecastle-set-for-first-crowd-in-16-months-but-numbers-limited-due-to-covid-19-3298894

The Edinburgh clubā€™s return to the top flight begins when Ange Postecoglou brings his new team to Gorgie on July 31, and Hearts hope more than 2,000 supporters will be allowed to attend.

Hearts have 500 for their cup game on Tuesday, Hibs have 2000 fans for their friendly the same day.Ā

Tynecastle Capacity 20,099

Easter Road Capacity 20,421

At max at the moment those stadiums are allowed 2,000, to think there will be 12,000 at our game seems a stretch.Ā

ā€œFor the first home game in the Premier Sports Cup, we will have 2,000 fans inside."

ā€œFor the second cup game, and the first game of the season against Celtic, we are currently working on the number as we have been given different social-distancing numbers to work with.

ā€œIt is social distancing inside the bowl but also social distancing on the concourse and they are different numbers.

ā€œWeā€™re working through that but it looks like being a few thousand more. It seems optimistic to me, but we are being told it will be back to normal from August 9." - Hearts chief executive Andrew McKinlay

Huge game for Real Madrid. Not often they get to play a side of our quality.

Personally I would advocate Wembley for this fixture. No problem getting fans in there.

I mean it might be a bit of a problem for 50k to get to London

Weird that you ignored the very next sentence Dennis, "We are applying for additional capacity and remain hopeful that we can offer more supporters the opportunity to purchase a ticket."

Ā

It's not that weird TBH, that is the number of tickets that are being sold for those games at the moment, it hasn't been extended past that yet and even if it is it is highly likely it will only be extended to 2,000 given the pishy guidance.Ā

The maximum attendance (shite as it is) for the current levelĀ is capped at 2,000 (see Motherwell tweet above) see Government guidance, Motherwell have a stadium with a capacity about 14,000 but can sell the same number of tickets as Hibs (larger stadium) and Hearts (larger stadium) if they get an extension to 2,000...Ā

Clubs have to apply for a larger attendance than that, was granted for The Lions game at Murrayfield and Hampden for the Euros, but wasn't for Hibs who were told Government Guidance wouldn't allow for 6,000, it is clearly not just based on stadium size, but random selectiveness given it was granted to one stadium in the same city, but not the other...Ā

I would say it is pretty unlikely we are at Level 0 by the end of July.Ā

That's my concern is we play the weans. TBF, wouldn't mind scouting some Real Madrid youths for 56.

Most of Madridā€™s top players all played in the knockouts for the Euros.

Should still see guys like Carvahal, Isco, Marcelo and Ascensio
