LegendofCoop 17,483
Impressed by the score, sounds like we played really well. Feels like ages since we last played, haven't really kept up with squad news. Is Yilmaz injured?

Most of us were ok with that and look at the return on that investment. Tillman is 20. There’s only an upside to this. What return on that investment? He'll either walk away for free in the summer or in 4-5 years when if we offer him a new deal. The time to get big money for Kent has come and gone. His boring style of play, shite tactics, the regression of our fitness (which will have contributed to our injuries) and his boring pre/post match pressers. Nothing to do with language, just that they were that "boring". How can that sort of manager inspire or motivate anyone is beyond me. He did seem like a decent guy, but it's not a decent guy we need, it's a manager that knows how to manage, aswell as being a decent guy. Devine looked a decent understudy to come off the bench when needed. Matondo had pace but what's the point in beating your man and delivering a ball to the opposition 95% of the time He's so fast he out runs the ball half the time. theiconicman 3,012
Was a decent game but for me that just reinforced what we knew. Kent, Morelos, Kamara - look to sell in Jan Sakala, Matondo, Wright - Not good enough Jack, Arfield, Davis, McGregor - there time has come and gone, leave with best wishes. Tillman will end up a good player, just not at Rangers.

Rangers#1 5,480
Matondo was v unlucky with his attempted curled shot into the top corner, two players on him, he done brilliant holding them off trying to make space to get the shot away. I've nothing against Kent at all, never been his biggest critic on here by a long shot, and would like to see him stay if he wants to, and can pick his form up. But - didn't look like he could trap a bag of cement in that 1st half I did see. I've seen him playing better and getting slagged to fuck on here. Yes, Matondo was marginally better today, but the #1 thing professional football players learn is to keep possession. He either loses possession 90% of the time or throws in blind, hopeful crosses. If we are going to play with our wingers more central, then Tillman can be effective from the right. Matondo won't last under Beale.

He will be heartbroken that things went wrong. Gio said in an interview when he left that he loves Rangers and that it was more than a job to him. It clearly didn't work out for him, but I still respect him for trying his best and will forever remember him getting us to the Europa cup final Football is a cruel business, but I respect any manager/player who gives their all for our great Club.
