Tav's clearance was poor yes. His overall performance tonight as well as this season have been terrible. However it was a poor clearance. They're still at the halfway line and have work to do. That clearance caused a turnover in possession not a goal. The biggest factor in the goal tonight was Sands leaving his man free through the centre. Undebatable.

Not sure how you rated sands tonight but anything other than abject failure is mental.

If Sands wasn't priced at 4M, I would sign him. He is the 3rd or 4th choice CB at the club when everyone is fit and can fill in at DM. We shouldn't be paying 4M for those roles.

However, he has played for the US and won the MLS. You don't do that if you are shite mate.

His best position is a sweeper had a great season before he came to us playing that roll , you can see he’s not a natural centre back he constantly looks behind him for reassurance not realising he’s the last man

Maybe if he said what his preferred position was it might help. Sweeper is a defunct term now and more a CDM anyway.

Don't even think he has the attributes to do that tbh. He's not playing in the US anymore, wee bit different playing for Rangers than his US outfit.

Thats me just in from the game. First half was not acceptable but much better second half. Not many stand outs but for once the sponsors were spot on giving Devine motm. 3 points though which is the main thing but lots of room for improvement.
