He runs but too often ineffective in what he's doing compared to what he should be. How many times does he block the keeper when he runs to close down? Never. How many times does he chase down and block or tackle a defender in possession? Very rarely How many times does he block the defender's forward pass with his angle of run and force the play to be defensive rather than across or forward? Rarely. How many times does a defender in possession stroll away from him into midfield? Repeatedly. That's lazy play in doing what needs done out of possession by a CF even if he is jogging towards players.
