Big change is now teams think they might have an outside chance against them.
 

Most teams took to the pitch against them under Postecoglu and were probably thinking “lets just not get horsed here…” while probably thinking they might have a chance of sneaking something against us.

 

Reality is that most teams are still going to try and contain them (and us) and try and sneak something on the break, but the more often it happens the more confidence the opposition are going to have and it generates an attitude of “well if Killie can do it, we are better than Killie so we should be able to”.

Win our game in hand and look to keep it to 2 points (assuming they don’t drop more) ahead of the OF.

A draw at Parkhead is a perfectly decent result in this scenario and sets us up for the second half of the season. The vital thing is to make sure it’s no more than 2 points of a gap coming out of that game.

We don't have to buy in January. Guessing PC may look to do some loan to buy options. There's bound to be quality players out there, but admittedly, it's a shit time to get these deals. No one wants to let quality players go.

This is the worst celtic have been for a long time, we need to take advantage of it as they'll likely invest quite significantly in January and have the likes of Hatate, Abada, Maeda etc back, not to mention we'll have European games and 2 games in hand to play - so that could be anywhere from 4-10+ more games in the 2nd half of the season.

There's the Asian Cup coming up that will take away 95% of their squad. 12th January until 10th Feb, They are absolutely not a good team.  This combined with their boardroom refusing to spend anything on anyone,  we buy a striker in January we are absolutely likely to win the league.

When will we as a fan base ever learn to stop getting ahead of ourselves. Got people talking about games in hand and going into the game against them X amount of pints behind. Just concentrate on the next game and see where you are come March/April time. We’ve been doing this for years and inevitably slip up a game before we play them. 
Do agree that January is massive if we can get a few out and a few in of quality.

It has, they’ve got significantly worse, while we’ve just got a bit worse, compared with last season.

It’s like a competition of who’s the least shite.

I’ve zero faith in us winning the LC, never mind the league, but will always hope. Feel like it’s been drained out me over the last few years, but the only thing that’s really changed is that the filth have downgraded.
