Sterling in for Tav if the suspension doesn’t carry over, get Raskin on for Diomande at half time/60 minutes

He has lots to improve on but McCausland has made a far bigger impact than he's given credit for

He also needs to improve in terms of game management, gave the ball away too many times last night, including the one that led to the Sterling incident. Needs to calm it under pressure.

He has been given credit.

He’s had a solid start, he’s a great prospect. His production is below the other wingers in the league at the moment. (goal or assist every 5 games). And teams are beginning to change how they defend and show him inside.

Hope he kicks on

Kent last season was rarely better than dire.

He chucked it, was well below his best and identified as an area we needed to strengthen.

But still had 13 G+A in 29 league games.

McCausland has 3 in 17.

Not sure how you can claim he’s a massive upgrade. Even despite that being Kent’s worst season.

He was pish last year Rab. 3 goals in his 29 games. Most of his assists were a bit tenuous if I recall correctly. Disinterested and ineffectual. McCausland doing fine so far. He'll get better and the manager rates him.

sorry, but he was poor last night overall, bit better 2nd half, he should hve been hooked for Cortes not Matondo. Or Wright.

While I agree he shouldn't be first choice for us at this stage of his career, I think his last two performances have been pretty decent. One thing to remember is that whoever comes in will have to track back and tackle the way he  does, given that Tav has been off form for weeks

I agree last season did really sour the memories of Kent but as others have said, he still had more impact.

Don't want to undermine McCausland as it's his first senior season but Kent had a far bigger impact in his first season here on loan, although was a couple of years older and with a few seasons of senior football under his belt.

Plenty of potential for McCausland and he needs to progress and mature for us but his stats read more like Wright than Kent at the minute. Hopefully Clememt as his team can add that end product.

McCausland has 3 goals and 4 assists in 1570 minutes.

Kent had 6 and 9 in 3438.

McCausland's are marginally better.

Edit: Just realised McCausland has challenge cup games in there. Remove those and Kent's are better but not massively so.

If we don't give youth a chance in this or Ross County home games, then we never will. No point in keeping lads like King and Rice if they are just going to be bench warmers and wear out the astroturf warming up every game.

King isn’t good enough, he can play against Ayr but wouldn’t put him near any of the league games the now
