Clement, a bigger man than some of those running the club, responded to a question posed to him with dignity. We all know Collum fucked up, as a support we will probably always let him know. No point in him making enemies of officials who will be calling the shots in future games. If it gets personal, Rangers manager to official it will almost certainly backfire. I think Cement is looking at the bigger picture and using his charisma to diffuse the situation to our benefit. He can't rant and rave as we do, even though he feels the same way. He is the Rangers manager. He has to stand back, bite his tongue and get on with winning silverware. Indeed. Even when those complaints are justified, obsessing about them doesn't get us points. Football is full of grey areas when it comes to important decisions, and that's part of the excitement. Clement can't control the quality/ impartiality of the officials. We went about it totally the wrong way, rather than calling out the refs in question we should’ve been making a point to say they’re working under impossible circumstances due to the pressure put on them before those games by the media and the other side. We all know Collum is a fucking rat but it was a good chance to highlight that they get decisions because they basically beg for them in the build up.
