Rumours of us doing 3 stands as we'll not lose out on hospitality money. Covid like ballot so the CR/CF fans don't miss every game.

If ever summed up the priorities of this club in past few years, this is it.

Season ticket holders missing out so hospitality punters don’t.

How will that make the pitch better ?  Crane still needs to be in that area does it not ?

Do wonder if the club should just stick with Ibrox. Close the Copland, try accommodate as many season ticket holders elsewhere in the ground for free, where it be sacrificing the entire hospitality and even the directors box seats? Scrap away tickets or shove then up in the spare seats in the club deck.

How much worse off would that be financially than renting out from the RFU?

Sounds similar.

There's no reason why it couldn't work thar way when the timescales are so tight for a job.

If the materials were available it would still have been neat to have the works completed in the maximum 3 months or so available.

The materials being available were arguably the biggest risk outwith the control of the contractor, and the one that appears to have fucked up the project regardless of whether it's the wrong materials that came in or no materials.

Rangers could have paid a bigger proportion up front for materials if it's about costs if that was an identified big risk. Not like folk don't do that with extensions at home etc where I wouldn't expect the contractor to pay for all materials until the job was done.

nail on head

I really don't see how 3 stands is a viable option, where does the crane go when the steel arrives?

Probably just shorten the pitch and use the crane to hold some sort of platform so we can get extra fans in.

Only wondering cause they've got a large pad down on the pitch at the end with crane etc all set up on it.

If that's where it needs to sit, the pitch is going to be considerably shorter.

Aye mate I was only kidding, I’m not sure health and safety would allow my idea.

Just 6 weeks of uncertainty, silence then last minute bullshit.

Sums up the people in charge, no plans B, as there was actually no plan A.

Only certainty is the will still take out the season tickets 3rd installments the morra, price increase and all.

Doncaster mentioned it, not directly about us, honestly don't think that was a coincidence mate.

Fair enough, I haven’t heard anyone mentioning anything so was a genuine question

Folk wanted the scum back in and those in the Broomie were to take the hit. So in the same vein surely those in the Copland should just give home games a miss for a few months and let the rest of us get on enjoying Ibrox again..

If we are moving the part timers in the broomloan out for those games we'd be aswell doing the same at start of season moving the loyal Copland Road fans into the Broomloan.

Fairest thing would probably be a Royal Rumble type square go before the game. Last folk standing from the Copland and Broomie get to take a seat for the game.

There must be more bad news the silence is deafening. The dignified silence has ramped up to just silence.
