I really really do not hope we are treated to the 'will learn from this' soundbite from MW.   Or the mantra of 'we'll analyse this and prepare well for the next game'.  

As much as it was refreshing when thing were going well in league and cup games, they have (imo) become hollow statements for the last half a dozen or so league games.   Because they are patently not learning, patently not responding, patently not performing, patently lost the edge to deliver the extra % that is the difference between winning games and drawing (like Alloa) and losing (to Livi and Hibs) and slumping defensively.   

What happened to 'smashing' the league - or does that not matter any more now that the league is won?   What happened to sending the fans home happy?   What happened to the heady days when - despite defences - we were romping to 3/4/5 goal victories?   Evaporated.  

It should be a concern that they are not showing evidence of learning.  Their hunger has been sated.   Basking in the glory of the cup semi with minds focussed far ahead to May 21.   Losing winning momentum can be hard to reverse.    But that's what good managers are paid for.

TBH, the plaudits belong to Livingstone rather than focusing on the fact that we were not inventive enough tonight and we were sloppy as well. If we had put up a performance like they did tonight against a Dortmund or Man.City for example we would be chuffed to bits. They deserved their victory.

Hope we get a decent win on Saturday.

Even warbuton himself talks about standards that have to be met and maintained at a club like Rangers so fans; especially the guys that made the trip to Livingston have the right to be pissed off. Last couple of weeks since the Tim game have been nowhere near acceptable
