Apologies if posted before but thought this was an interesting article not from the hacks up here.
Certainly like the bit about Gerrard not being afraid to criticise players, privately or publicly – and not liking to lose the toss ??

I can only remember managers coming in and praising or paying lip service to the players already here.

Ibroxric72 reacted to Beaujolais in Paul Murray still leaking 2 Daily Retard
We all have our opinions. IMO Paul Murray successfully undermined the previous Board and replaced one individual with a dubious reputation but incredible wealth with another individual with a dubious reputation and not enough wealth. King has invested no money into Rangers directly since taking over, but instead has the Club by the balls with the supposedly soft loans. Unless King pulls off a master stroke and actually has real investment into the Club organised rather than plans to add even more debt to fund the new Manager and their Football budget requirements, then I fear the Club is, under his stewardship, heading in a far worse direction. I just hope Murray is leaving because King has real investment lined up and is not a rat leaving a sinking ship.

I was an S form for Motherwell back in the day. He was definitely a blue nose.when Big Jock left Motherwell to go back to Rangers he told him he would be back for him. Gary was buzzing. Twice Wallace tried to sign him and he practically begged the club to sell him.
Then right out the blue he was away to Leicester with club captain, Ally Mauchlen. In those days clubs just told you where you were going or staying - there was no player power like now.
He was a brilliant big guy though and even then you could tell he was some player - although i was a bit surprised to see how good he got. He just got better and better the older he got.
He used to organise the tips for the youth players every Tuesday - we were all YTS. And i actually met him in Orlando Airport 5 years ago and he remembered me ???

You would have to be an idiot to hire someone who has never managed a club in his life knowing we need to stop the filth in the next 2 seasons!  Nothing surprises me with this mob mind...

A herald reporter grilling and asking loaded, agenda driven questions of a Rangers manager for fuxache.
Walter would quite simply have answered  a lot those questions from a herald reporter with simply a disconcerting  stare, a look of incredibility the reporter was even asking those kind of questions, or simply a few basic putdowns along the lines of "as a reporter you know fuck all and as I'm manager of Rangers your not gonna  don't take the piss."

Or maybe even a wee bit of this.

I think we as a support can be a bit smarter with some of the songs we sing at times. IMO our brand is getting harmed by it. I think a lot of people shy away from supporting our club because of this or encourage their children to do so because of the same. We are a proud British club and we should celebrate that and we are an amazing club with great history and we should be celebrating that as well. However the FTP stuff needs to go. Like it or not the tarriers are miles ahead of us with these things and I honestly believe we are losing a massive amount of kids supporting us.
    This is a gay quote.

Ibroxric72 reacted to Gman36 in A LOYALIST Rangers supporters group has said fans have been "badly let down" by the Dave King-led board
What I meant by that was its interesting the article decided to tag the group as Loyalist. If they'd written an equivalent article on the green and grey brigade they wouldn't have tagged them republican. It's just a subtle bit of word play from them.

“When a chap loses his heart to an ideal, there’s no going back. It grows and grows within him, growing stronger as the years slip past.
That is why, when people ask: “Would you rather play centre than in the half-back line?” my answer comes off my lips as though from a tape recorder:
“I don’t care where I play so long as I wear the Rangers colours.”
    (Jimmy Millar)
Due to the way it has been mis-handled, there will be something of a media frenzy about what was said in the Ibrox dressing room last Sunday. Already this incident has divided opinion amongst our support, with some backing the players for speaking their minds whilst others insist the manager should be afforded some modicum of respect, regardless of who that is.
I doubt many of us would argue that Lee Wallace has given his heart to an ideal. While some badge kissers could not engineer their Ibrox exits quickly enough, Lee Wallace stayed for the fight to restore the club in its time of dire need. In terms of his flourishing international career it could be argued he paid a heavy price for doing so. Therefore, on the back of one of the most gutless, insipid, soulless and embarrassing performances from charlatans wearing the famous blue jersey, one can at the very least, understand the passion which proved to be the catalyst to whatever transpired within the dressing room.
As is often the case in life, it was actually what was not said which was important.
Graeme Murty’s post-match interview where he admitted he had not discussed the performance with the players for fear it may cause conflict or finger-pointing should merit an internal Rangers investigation more than anything else which transpired on Sunday.  Can any of you imagine Jock Wallace avoiding what needed to be said after such a humiliating capitulation for fear of upsetting some inflated or precious egos within the Ibrox dressing room ?
If a 4 nil thrashing to celtic in a Scottish Cup Semi Final was not sufficient cause for Murty to light the blue touch paper in the Rangers dressing room – you have to ask yourself – just what the hell would be ?
The Heart & Hand Podcast summed the situation up perfectly via their twitter account.

Our current board have made a spectacular series of gaffes with regard to managerial recruitment, that situation could become a whole lot worse if they fail to act before Sunday. The Post Mortems on managerial decisions and the merits or madness of promoting the Youth Coach can wait for another day, for once, the board need to step out of character, show some leadership and for God’s sake listen to the real voice of the Club – the fans.
