We can now look forward to a full front page exposure from the Record on their internal investigation with offending journalists pictured ,named and shamed.After all that is the protocol they followed when they ran the H and H 'exclusive' demanding that the club respond.
That would be viewed as an even handed, just and fair response .Failure to do so will be permanently damaging to the integrity and reputation not only of the newspaper but its parent company.
The latter organisation is where fans and those featured in the sensationalised article should be demanding action.The editorial team at the Record have a lot to answer for in their decision to front page and demonise H and H.
Advertisers should also be alerted immediately to what has been going on and the shameful historical tweets of Record journalists.
I expect at best in response from the DR a couple of column inches buried in the middle pages of the rag framed in heavily accentuated 'whataboutery'.

Expect some of the better known broadcasters to go on the offensive and out themselves for 'inappropriate language'(!) which they will grovel ,on reflection, may now be seen as offensive,sectarlan or racist but at the time was not their intention.Oh really?
A tactical and cynical move to head off criticism and hopefully for them nullify potentially serious action by their employers.
But fans will not be fooled or stopped in getting the facts made known and their totally unacceptable behaviour out into the open.

Before you accuse ....make sure you are absolutely squeaky clean and not pursuing a personal agenda under the guise of supposed wider societal concerns.
You will be found out and exposed.

The Record has serious responsibilities within its own corporate hierarchical structure and to its advertisers and paymasters.
Any whiff of racism, sectarlanism,selective discrimination, incompetent editorialship and unprofessional journalism by its employees and questioning their personal motives, attracting serious scutiny and criticism has to be seen to be rooted out .
Expect heads to roll,a public apology and loads of whataboutery.
Other major media outlets including public broadcasters should take note and take due governance in whom they employ.Particularly in their past and current media behaviour .

Stewart reminds me of Speirs well trod methodology with his desperate attention seeking media tweets .
His selective obsessive focus on those big bad Rangers fans is awfully predictable and so very tiresome.
A very ordinary footballer of no particular note,a failed politician of the Nationalist hue happy to hitch his rickety bandwagon to anything with an anti Rangers spin.
A complete irrelevance.
No doubt he spends his time scrutinizing media and fans messageboards for mentions to massage his own pathetic ego.

If you are out to expose anyone on behalf of your employer for certain 'unacceptable' behaviour make sure you are absolutely squeaky clean.
Especially for similar behaviour which can be equally judged as being totally unacceptable.
A supposed media sharpshooter can soon find himself ran out of town and discredited.

ĎR giving increasingly negative exposure to to any Rangers story in its general news and football pages....nasty Rangers charging for access,barring hacks ,assault,racism,sectarianism,excluding sellick fans from Ibrox .Attacks on fan groups dredging up stuff from years ago .
A constant stream..almost daily ...of negativity,playing poorly,going off the boil ,unable to play in front of crowds buckling under pressure...and so it goes on.
No other daily newspaper is indulging in such a propaganda tirade against the club and its support.
Are external influences with access to the Editorial team involved in this sudden unusual spike in negative headlining stories .
Much of the 'newswothy 'dross they are accentuating should be buried at best under a few column inches
All very strange .
Never has the nickname Daily Rhebel been more appropriate.

Those in power threw their lot in with whatever party would give them most advantage and maintain their own power base.
The male tenants...serfs...on their land were their footsoldiers.
The serfs fought on whatever side their master had declared his fealty to.
Serfs did not fight for their own bit of hill or glen but for the land of their masters.
If you did not fight you faced eviction, starvation,blacklisting and almost certain death as an example to your neighbours.
More akin to slavery than being a free man.

Witch hunt against the club...no surprise in todays Scotland given the powerful enemies we have in the media and political circles and their selective and eager savaging of our club and support; given our opposition to their motivations and objectives.
But our fans,especially the younger ones, do need to be a lot more savvy and be aware of the implications of their actions.

They lost to us despite our preparation being severely disrupted and 24 hours after a lomg haul trip with some of our players less than fully fit.But in their loser mindset they think the big Greek is doing an amazing job ...1-0 is so much better than 4-1...how the tables have turned.

No Captain , no brilliant goalie,barely any recovery time from our long haul flight, Covid affecting our squad and preparation,some players taking the field with injuries.
Despite all those advantages to sellick, basically we faced a totally overhyped and over rated team who score freely against diddy teams but were found out big time today.
They flattered to deceive in the first half because we stood off them.
A thoroughly deserved victory
