Walter absolutely had a game plan, especially in his second term in Europe. He knew when we we playing more skillful teams we had to strangle the game then break quickly and shock them. Queen will still be lying in state in Edinburgh until Tuesday and the policing response for crowds required is huge. Add to that an away support known for being violent on top of resources needed for the usual 50,000 people going to a football match.

I watched that program that shows all the lower league English matches and I'd argue the majority have far better stadiums and attendances. And Im not talking championship or league one. The games comical up here with plastic pitches grounds with wasteland behind the goals and pathetic attendances. 

I think we both know the answer to that. 

We need a major rebuild from top to bottom. Same way the Tim's did when we stopped the 10.
New manager with solid ideas, get rid of Deadwood and cunts who don't want to be here and bring in players that will appreciate what it means to wear that badge. 
 
Look at Goldson, Kent & Morelos for example. 3 major players in our squad and all of them look unhappy and couldn't give a fuck. Look how happy Jota is to be playing compared to Kent, its night & day and its all about attitude.  Dreaming of moves elsewhere. If your heart isn't in it 100% then fuck off. Treat them the same way fat ange did with Edouard & co and get them to fuck and build a new squad with new ideas.
 
This squad has well and truly run its course and is not good enough to compete with celtic anymore, its that simple. We either make massive changes and move people on or face finishing second for the foreseeable future because we won't lay a fucking glove on them as it stands.

Wrong. Gio will be his own downfall, nothing more or less. His shitty defensive style and apparent stubbornness to change things is what's bringing this about. Coupled with bizarre zonal marking among other things is why we are playing as badly as we are

As long as folk keep thinking the tims get lucky then the longer it'll be until we catch up, them winning with late goals isn't lucky, the majority of the league is poor so if they're not winning late on they just go all out attack, the put so much pressure on they usually get the goal, not always but I'd say every 2/3 times if they really need it then it'll go for them.
 
We put this down to luck and feel sorry for ourselves and I alwas feel like that translates onto the bench, we never fully go all out when we need a goal and I think that caution stops us from getting the same results when we need them.

celtic: Signed players with injury free history (minus Mcarthy). And cleared off Rogic, Griffiths, Brown, Bitton, Julien.

Rangers: Focused on signing from saturated markets eg English Championship. Failed to identify and target weak areas: GK, RW, Striker
celtic:
Identified best players in Japanese league available at discount. As well as Russian fire sale market. Used free agent market well with Hart and Siegrist
Loan to buy 
Rangers: Did well with Tillman
celtic: Jota and CCV. 1 year for little to no outlay. Then option to buy once player is proven first team quality.
Manager
Rangers: Identified how to progress in Europe but not domestically
celtic: Developed all out aggressive, high intensity press system which Spl teams can’t deal with. Transfer policy developed around young, fit players. With plenty of attacking options up front

Gio is uninspiring. His interviews before todays game, him and Vos sitting clueless on the bench. We might win a cup this season to appease the fans but we ain't winning the league
