Stockbridge should be hung but the rest of them have done nothing wrong ffs.Hope this board gets ruthless with some players, say either leave or your training with the u17's and you won't play, fucking time to really get things done at the club to safeguard our future now! Dutchy 1,200 Posted January 16, 2014 Share Posted January 16, 2014 This is all very annoying and a lot od it seems to be how much money has been taken out of the club by various businessmen, but there's no point in bleating about that now.It seems as though this is just an initial attempt to cut our costs. It doesn't look like it's going to work, however the ones on high wages have to do something.I'd suggest going back with a 5% cut and leave the kids alone.Make a commitment that no 'bonuses' will be paid to board members, or for any outside work done.There are more than a few who we can release and Stockbridge should go, immediately!There will be lots of ways to cut costs by 15% and I think we'll manage it by staying cool and sensible. We could talk a lot about how the SFA/SPL stole a pile of money from us. Wallace does it and its all the current Boards fault and the spivs should go.I hope and believe that every Rangers fan understands that we needed to cut costs. Any Board in the UK worth their salt, would sit down and the first thing they would look at is the big ticket items. We should remember that the footballing staff wage last year was NOT the £7m that everybody keeps talking about, it was nearer £11m in reality. Now if you are capable of taking a step back and looking at objectively, cutting £11m by 15% is a much bigger and better answer than cutting 15% off the £3k we pay the milkman at Murray Park.The wages our players are on are an utter disgrace. We brought in players and are paying them 3/4/5 times as much as they had ever earned in their previous footballing careers so to ask these guys to take a 15% cut is not as bad as it sounds, though i do have sympathy for the younger players whom have been let down very badly by both the Management team and the "PREVIOUS" Board members.Lets face facts. We NEED fresh investment. We NEED to cut costs.
