Food for thought: If we hadn't have gone into admin some of the older players would have still been with us, the youth wouldn't have had to be thrown in the deep end having to cope with being in the spot light and the demands of playing for Rangers. Everything would have had a natural flow and balance.

I actually think this is a good move let older experienced players play these grudge match leagues, as we're not going to have a easy time of it. If experienced players are on the pitch and see the youth having a hard time they can help them out and protect them from serious injury as they are the club future assets

I'm the biggest critic of our clueless manager and of our ridiculous signing policy whilst ignoring youth but the reality is even at 34 Miller will be by far and away the best striker in our team.....not the right type if signing IMO but he will almost certainly be effective on a 1/2 year deal.

We have no scouting network, we have no money and unfortunately this is the market place we have to shop in. Miller is tried and tested, Telfer is undoubtedly talented, but so was John fleck and look at what happened with him. Miller is not a long term solution, and if we can get him and boyd then our main objective of getting back to the top division would appear that bit easier. I don't care if we dig up Eusebio and play him, as long as we win the title then the ends justify the means.

the ends don't justify the means, to say that you are suggesting that Kenny Miller and Kris Boyd (I'm not adverse to Boyd coming back btw) are the only guys out there who can take us up, if all that mattered was getting back to the top then everything up until now has been a waste of time, we should have restructured the club 2 years ago, hell we could have done it 1 year ago, just because we haven't done it yet doesn't mean we shouldn't do it now, everyone knows Kenny Miller will strengthen our cause for Promotion but then again everyone knew Stephane Guivarc'h would strengthen our cause for the SPL Title back in 99...it doesn't mean we needed him then and it doesn't mean we need Miller now.

We're throwing money at a guy in a time when money is sparse witg absolutely no hope whatsoever of getting it back, we're going to the Scottish Premiership, not some gold laden land of untold Treasure, this is the blueprint signing that caused our problems of the past only on a much lesser scale.
