BBC do that a lot with their stats. They often report the only attempts on goal as being the actual goals. I've seen games where we had 20+ shots, scored 3 or 4 and they report it as 3 or 4 shots.

Nah mate. I'm being a little pedantic. They never actually count double in any competition. The most away goals win if it's a draw, but they don't count double.
