Letting him go was a complete head scratcher. People talk about him not being good enough on the ball but he could easily do what we are asking Davis, Kamara and Davis to do at the moment and he’s a better physical presence too.

To be fair, from what I saw he did more & better than almost anything I ever remember while he was with us.

Maybe teams looked on him as the weak link & pressurised him?

Perhaps his time at Pompey gave him more time on the ball, which has drawn out something he’d suppressed with us?

He certainly did enough to raise the question ‘have we let the wrong one go?’
