It won't be cancelled.   There's no perceived dignity at the Club if they cancelled it.   Those that run the Club and play for the Club and the Manager and the coaching staff have simply allowed pride and passion to evaporate and are not just at a level where shoulders are shrugged and the whole thing dismissed as 'it was just a game' or 'it was just a season' but life goes on and so does this party.   

Perhaps the better measure might be to take note of who does  not attend the event.  Which of the players (other than Miller and Wallace who are presumably not welcome at the event) are embarrassed enough to find a reason not to go.    Maybe they are the ones who get what it means to be at Rangers more than those who turn up and have a laugh and a joke and a few drinks having been primary players in an utter shambles of a season and have been the main instruments in ripping the Rangers Support off..........and getting away with it.

Maybe they could find it in their minds to at least make one winning result today.  That would be a public commitment from all players, the management and coaching staff and execs / directors of the Club to donate one month's wages to charity.   For those directors who are not paid then an equivalent voluntary contribution.    At least let some deserving souls benefit from the clusterfuck of a season these players and the manager have dished out to us. 

No chance of that or anything like it happening though.   

As always with them their own personal self interests are the only thing that matters to each and every one of them, despite their claims to the contrary.
