My Dad and his two elder brothers visited to see the grave a few years ago and decided to visit Amoruso's restaurant. They asked after him (as bluenoses visiting) but he wasn't in. The staff phoned him and he came down to see them before they left and got pictures with them. Many of our ex-players appear back in mhedia when they are trying to chase the blue pound but that story will stay with me for the rest of my life (and i wasn't even there) and befitting of a legend when so many others offer piss poor efforts regularly for us. Big Amo was a rock for us at times, a terrific siege defender. He made some mistakes but all players do, although a few of his were in high profile games.
