I’ve no issues signing it and don’t know if the following similar route would be allowed but if so it’s probably better:

https://petition.parliament.uk/

This petition has been rejected as Child Welfare is a devolved matter, therefore not under the remit of Westminster.

The can be because of such devolved, but strictly speaking in law, powers are devolved by the UK parliament and they can also be taken back if Holyrood are found in breach of them or incompetent in their deployment.

There is everything to be gained by notifying Scottish based MP's to bring it to their attention who can take it up with the Westminster constitutional committee if there is a sniff of wrongdoing and therefore questions can be asked of SNPira and pressure brought to bear.

We do have an underlying problem in Scotland now that could keep us fucked for many years to come.

It benefits the tories to have a strong SNP. A strong SNP keeps Labour down and makes it almost impossible for Labour to form a majority at Westminster

Don't disagree, just pointing out if you try to sign the UK Gov petition it tells you that you cant as child welfare is currently devolved.
