No matter what what happens right now we control this title race. If they all want a break give them it won't change the fact we are minimum of 4 clear.

We will be missing our best players for the game against them, their best players will now start.

That's the tip of it

Scottish Premiership clubs have been asked to vote on when the winter break should be introduced.

The three options are to pause as planned after 3 January, start the break after the Boxing Day fixtures or begin the hiatus before Sunday's games.

The SPFL board are encouraging clubs not to vote for the third option due to the few dates available to play games.

Should option two be chosen, a return to play would take place in the week beginning Monday 17 January.

There would be midweek fixtures that week to make up for the postponed rounds of matches.

Clubs have been asked to inform the SPFL of their preference by 17:00 GMT on Wednesday and Dundee United have already expressed support for bringing the winter break forward.

Said ages ago, the only way to deal with all the chairmen who bend over to celtics wishes, is to starve them of the blue pound.

It’s the only thing they are interested in.

Doesn't make a difference.

Where to start with this

Let's start in the middle of January when we will still be limited to 500 capacity. What next at that point?

I doubt we will see  full capacity again before March we aint completing the second half of a season in 8 weeks.

We 'starved them of the blue pound' for 4 years and it made no difference

They had to cut their cloth and approach spfl/sky for additional money to bail them out over the four years we were in the lower divisions

So why are you wanting us to give them what they want?

So as expected play the games when we will be missing players during the African Cup of Nations.

We'll also play the games even know we'll have little chance of fans being allowed back which is the whole point of this according to them, doing it for the fans etc.

Any chance we could say we voted but it got lost in the firewall. Worked well for them last time.

I tell you something the spfl and celtic have managed to get this vote going really fucking quickly!!

shame they weren’t as quick when Scott brown was up infront of a compliance officer who iirc was on holiday meaning he could play against us due to the delay?

So why do they not want 18 team “top” league?

We’ll agree to disagree.

Multiple reasons

Why have celtic, Aberdeen, Hibs, Hearts, Motherwell, St Johnstone and Kilmarnock all dicked around with our allocation in the last couple of years if they're so reliant on us?

The silence from Rangers is deafening btw, fucking brutal!!

Dont know if it would make any difference to be honest.

If we come out and say we are apposed to it, its just going to go through anyway and we will be left with egg on our face.

Best we could do is come out demanding that we are not put at an unfair advantage with players being away on international duty for the ACON.

If it is allowable for this thing to be decided by a vote of the clubs, and we are the only club not wanting it, then we are shit out of luck. If this can be challenged, then its a different kettle of fish, but by the sounds of it, it cant.

No point in picking a fight if there is no way we can win.
