He needs to use this break as a catalyst for change like gerrard in covid. Defeat to the sheep today(let's face it, it was very possible) and a pumping of napoli would of certainly been the end. He has slight breathing space, but can he take advantage.

Not sure that argument really washes anymore when Gio would have played a part in the decision to give five of them new contracts this Summer, while also having talks with another two of them. That suggests he’s happy with them as much as anything else.

If it’s still frauds like Ross Wilson overseeing the recruitment process then I’m not convinced it will. Honestly already feeling like the season is a bust.
