So after we win the super cup how much do we get for playing in the club world Cup?

Current winners get around £4m. If the expansion of the tournament goes ahead (I'm not sure UEFA are actually keen on it), you will play a minimum 3 group games. It's meant to be held in China.

For some reason I thought it was more than that but still a healthy sum.

World champions does have a nice ring to it though.

The reason why FIFA have put this expansion in is so they can make a shit load of coin. More matches = more revenue. If it does go ahead then I'd expect a few million just for participating in the group stages. UEFA clubs have been allocated 8 slots but I can't see it getting off the ground tbh.

How much do you reckon it'll be with the taigs involved?

It’s halved, basically all the CL money is due to TV rights.

But, it’s £20million into our pockets and £20million out of there’s, which is massive in Scotland where you can buy the league with those kind of numbers (as they have this season).

We can’t afford to give them a summer window knowing they’ve got £40million incoming
