He was ok tonight, nowhere near as bad as the usual half a dozen who post about him continually say he was.

He does need to be better than ok though and we're just not getting that from him.

Miles ahead of every other wide player at the club.

7m pound man being better than free transfers or poor buys shocker.

In his head, he’s done with us but will keep playing until his contract ends.

The norm is players play better in their last season hoping to win good contracts.

Last season he was ripping teams apart in Europe but he’s been very poor this season and tonight he was awful but I doubt it’s got anything to do with his contract coming to an end.

He could be our best players but the same bores will come out with their same pish

The only boring thing on here in regards to Kent is the handfull of people on this site(yourself included) who still continue to defend him no matter what.

Look I think I was poor tonight but what was our plan? What did we expect him to contribute? Last season in the latter stages of the europa it felt obvious, this year he looks lost.

Seriously? He had plenty of chances on the ball to make things happen and either shirked responsibility or just lost the ball running into people

He has a job to do off the ball as well which he just decided not to do

If that was Matondo he would’ve been unanimously slaughtered for that performance

Far from being back to his best but also far from the front as far as who deserves (another) thread on his own based on last night's performances. He's become a bit of a hate figure now, so best all round he moves on. Just hope we can get 'something' when the time comes. Gio would be sensible to be pushing Wilson's buttons already in preparation for January. Heard his Brother is his agent, so imagine he's already sniffing around Beale.

He's an easy target but he's not the only one that has regressed so much, Tav has been absolutely shite from the first game this season , Morelos is making an arse of the manager, he's so slow and unfit and should be parked until he's gone, the thing is here that I blame the manager, he keeps playing them knowing full well that they offer next to nothing.

He was poor, as I said. But what was our game plan? What areas were we looking to exploit? There's nothing deliberate about our attacking play, it's just a case of hoping a player does something when they get the ball.

Kent will get slaughtered for his performance, don't worry about that.

I see he's created the highest number of chances by any player in the country this season.

If doing two step overs then rifling it way over the bar is considered a chance, then wire in.

Stats are the most deceiving thing ever, but they have become very trendy.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, Kent did really well to keep the ball in play last week and lay it back to Borna who crossed for Tav to score, but you won't see Kent anywhere on the stat sheet.

Exactly. Stats can't cover up for him being fucking awful.

Just shows how shite stats are tbh

Stats don't lie unless there made up , but this backs up your statement.

The problem is that stats don't cover up what you see with your own eyes.

Hopefully potential suitors see it, are impressed with it and take away the possibility he'll sign a new deal with us.

This is like when people were defending Barrie McKay when he was shite, but but but it’s the other players faults for not finishing the chances

Red neck when you've made about 100 posts in 24 hrs using stats to bend over backwards supporting Gio.
