I hope he does well and takes his chance but either way we'll need to sign another keeper with the intention of being no1 or to battle it out. He had been decent in a handful of games previously, hence why he was made number one. One decent performance doesn't suddenly make you a 1st team keeper that can handle the big games. Whether he plays or not I think is pretty much irrelevant as I'm pretty certain we will get a new no.1, but it certainly won't tell us a lot about Beale whether he picks him or not. For me mcrorie has to play next 4 to roughly understand his standard.
