Looked good today. It’s a shame he has had a few injuries this season as he’s deserved a shot.

Don't think it was a coincidence oir CHs looked to have more confidence having a goalkeeper behind them catching crosses and well off his line sweeping up through balls.

I’ve very much been in the “if he was good he would be playing” camp, but it’s looking like an utter head scratcher that he hasn’t had a proper chance, especially when goalkeeper is an area where we’ve been weak this season.

We are almost in an awkward position now where you think do we really need to hand say Jack Butland a £20,000-£25,000 a week deal or should we persist with McCrorie, which comes with its own risk, because he’s still only played what four first team games for us.

If Butland is free and him and McCrorie fight it out to be no1 then we're in a good place with no outlay.

McCrorie and Butland makes us extremely strong in that position next season. 
 

Comes for every ball across the whole box. One or two In behind in the first half he got too whereas McGregor would be on his line.

Didn't Beale say he's been injured and had fitness issues ever since he became manager up until very recently?

There is zero situation where we shouldn't be signing a no.1 keeper.

McCrorie has played 2 games in the last 2 years. Yes he's been decent, but it's been 2 games.

McLaughlin was decent in a handful of games and that led to him becoming our no.1 and fucking it as soon as there was some pressure.

Best compliment you can give him is the amount of confidence he gives the rest of the defence when he’s in goal.

I would love to see him grab the shirt, but I think it's probably best we sign a good calibre keeper like Butland as well.

Another good performance from him, but as he’s only getting a max of five games we have to buy another keeper to be our number 1. Then if McCrorie’s good enough to take the position, fair play to him.
