Ooft

This just about sums us up in the last few years

Playing around the back, everything through the fullbacks out wide, absolutely no ability or even attempt to play through the middle at all.

I think that shows that no cunt trusts Borna to give him the ball, not a solitary pass to a forward player on that 😩

You know why Borna doesn't get the ball and it's pretty simple if you think on it and I noticed it during the game, Souttar is on the left side of the defence not his preferred choice and he looks to his right and plays the ball that way as that is his strongest side it's what all right footed players do.

If it had been Souttar playing where Goldson played and Davies in Souttar position you would have seen Barisic getting more of the ball. Footballs a simple game we all like to complicate.

He wont have a 'first 11'.

He is building a squad where multiple players will be in contention for positions. Sometimes it will be Raskin, Dowell and Lundstrum. Other times it will Be Cifuentes, Jack and Cantwell. With multiple other potential combinations involved.

Every single manager on the planet has a first 11, regardless of how many players per position they have.

No they dont.

Most managers change their team depending on who they are playing.

If they are heavy favourites, at home, they will likely pick one selection. If its a difficult away game, they will change the line-up to contain the opposition more.

For 34/36 games we should be playing the same set up and the same team with some rotation.

We've seen no true improvement since December 2022.

Two appalling performances at Hampden.

He's now lost more domestic matches than Gio, and it took Gio nearly an entire year of management to lose a non-OF game (St Johnstone), whereas we've now lost twice to Aberdeen and Kilmarnock.

First opening day defeat for 25 years.

There are mitigating circumstances for some of the above, and we did win the league in 98/99, but the signs aren't looking good.

Wrong.

Hamilton duly fucked us at Ibrox when we came up from the Championship,no?

That being said,Beale is a diddy.

Thats bollocks and just leads to the team not having much of an idea, put out your starting 11 thats the best, control and kill the game off, give others game time

Shit like "ah well he never played last week so I'll give him a game this week etc" (i know thats a heavy exaggeration but fuck it) is one lot of pish

Your absolute strongest 11 thats fit and available starts no matter what,

Team crying out for wingers

Had them last season and watched us put a million balls in the box at home v Livi yet dropped points. Same went for St J away not long after.

Team needs to play far better don’t think it’s as simple as change from 10s to wingers.

Because

A) The wingers were shit

B) High looping balls into the box dont work

What the "we need wingers" crew are wanting is guys pretty much hugging the touchline, who'll not only stretch the opposition by simply being there, but have the ability to attack a man, make them commit themselves, and alter the shape of an opponents defence,

Not one person in that starting line up on sat was willing to get the ball to feet and run with it, it was all pass pass pass pass, usually sideways, all killie had to do was shunt ten yards to either side and keep their shape,

Its fucking embarrassing that we both seen the tarriers absolutely destroy scottish football using width, and also watch as teams target ourselves with width, and beale hasnt thought once to give it a shot

Its a damning stat that ryan kents numbers last season were better under gio (who was apparently stifling him) than under Michael "let the handbrake off" Beale
