You don't get 30 or 40 horrible games in the old firm. This ain't Kansas anymore Dorothy. We should also stop pretending Beale hasn't been here for 40 games or something.

Yes, too many kidding on this is his first few games about time they woke up he's getting us regularly turned over by the filth due to his fear when setting up a team against them.

He started at septic in June 21

Beale started at Rangers November 2022

are you seeing it yet?

Yes.

Beale came into a shit show and was judged properly when he got to being in his own players.

The start of his full season is as poor as the Aussie. Difference being the aussie was a good manager and even when they dropped points they looked decent. We look shit, play shit and have shit results.

He lost his first game of the season and got beat off us not long after. Was 4 points behind and Fucked Europe too.

Pretty much the same as us this season....

But Gerrard lost to Dundee Utd and drew three games at home which kept them in it.

True the difference is they seemed to have an identity and he only came in the Summer with plenty of new players. Beale bought 9 and starts 3.

Yeah Beales recruitment and implementation of it is a disgrace.

We booked at what Pedro did with money but Beales every bit as bad. If these players don't turn it on for the next manager we are fucked for another few seasons

Yeah I think most of them have ability and you can see it in spells, just don’t think they have a clue what Beale wants. Or they’re doing what he does want which is even more worrying.

A decent manager might be able to use them better but nobody can turn the shite Beales signed into a league winning side. We’re now lumbered with this pish on contracts - Sima only a loan which is a slight bonus

Not defending Beale but the moon howlers were crying for fat Ang to be sacked, doubt he had them playing decent stuff. Not that it matters now

Not happy he is staying.

Really do think it will end in disaster and he will be away by Halloween or even the end of this month.

But I will back him and the team this Saturday like most of us will and get behind him. We better win fucking convincingly also.

They won back to back games 6-0 in those 4 games tbf.

Stand by the winter break being pushed forward helped him massively.

The argument for keeping Beale is a time one. Fans are fickle and there’s plenty of examples of managers given time who turn it around. Arteta probably being the latest high profile one. Arsenal were horrible in his first 30-40 games. (Winning only 1 in 3). Postecoglou had a poor start as well..

Against that the play style has been baffling and the old firm was a tactical disaster piece.

The signings have been really underwhelming  - the profile and ability. But don’t see how a new manager changes that bit.

I’d keep him for now and see how we develop domestically now he’s had a bit more time with the squad during this international break.

There is plenty of examples of managers turning it round. But in our recent history there is more examples of managers who didn't. Gio, Pedro and Warburton. They all got more time than they should have and by the end the league was long gone.

It would be one thing if like Arteta and Postecoglou there was a clear idea of what he was trying to do. But after months there isn’t, hell I'm not even sure our players actually know what they are supposed to be doing.

Keeping him in place is just blind faith he'll turn it round now. There's nothing in his record that says he can. There’s actually more evidence like his big game record he can't.

Still very much convinced we're looking for a new manager before year is out and by that point yet another league title will be gone.

Can argue the tactics are why the players look underwhelming, in which case a new manager would get more out of them

Exactly, the big difference is identity. You could see early doors what posticoglu was doing and how he wanted the team set up.

They were blowing out their arse after about 60 minutes and until they got a better squad together they were dropping points. We just seem to have no real direction, nobody taking initiative on the pitch, no real structure apart from Tav and Borna doing their thing.

The leadership also seems weak and Beale doesn't know how to change a game, or even identify when the game is about to turn against us.

We've also been trailing in far too many games under Beale, which puts you under more pressure right away.

He talked about the possibility of going three at the back and he’s barely done it outwith a half here and there during pre season.

He spent the bulk of his budget on strikers which would make you think we would have two on the park and now he doesn’t play two of them from the start.

He got rid of all our wide players, seemingly because he wanted to implement a narrower system, and then when he realised that didn’t work he talked about wanting a replacement for Kent and ending up having to bring Matondo back into the fold because he had nothing else.

He’s talked repeatedly about taking the handbrake off but he then sets us up to stand off of our biggest domestic rivals and resorts to route one football to try and beat them.

He’s killed all the confidence of our most attacking talented player because he keeps shunting him all over the place to shoehorn him into the team rather than building the attack around his abilities.

He has been absolutely all over the place when it’s comes to talking about his ideas, and it’s only got worse, to the point that it’s now giving off a massive stench of a guy who knows he’s under pressure and doesn’t know what to do to fix it so he’s just throwing everything he can at the wall and hoping something sticks.

He won’t cut it here. I don’t know how there is anybody who can’t see that. His tenure is in terminal decline and it’s 100% a matter of when he gets sacked or leaves.

He clearly had a plan in his head this season but it started wrong and instead of being strong and backing it  hes flapped and just tailspinned

I can only assume we’re waiting to hear back from someone like Muscat (I fully believe that AussieScout account when it says we’ve contacted him) before sacking Beale, you don’t sound out other managers unless you’re planning to get rid of the incumbent one.

If the board are just sitting tight and hoping for the best, then that’s gross negligence.
