Do you not remember preseason? We tried that experiment and he looked like a fish out of water. 

He's not got the ability to hold it up or link up play and we'll need more from our number 9 than running in behind for 90 minutes.

Not sure how anything that happened preseason can be considered relevant now given how the season has gone.

For me it's all about the new manager getting better performances out of pretty much every player. Not what the last manager did or didn't get from them.

On the face of it Sima is sharper and more clinical than the 2 natural CFs.  If matondo, McCaisland and Cantwell are the creators then he could well offer more than our CFs. It's well worth the try because in the last few games Danilo and Dessers have both been utterly fucking rank.

I don't think he's anywhere near good enough to be playing centre forward. 

Would have to drop back to link up play and hold it up, none of which is his strength.

I wasn't making a case for them. 

Seems daft removing our top goal scorer from the position he's scoring goals in to play him in a position where he'll get less time and space. 

Add to the fact he's not a very good footballer and it seems like a really bad idea.

He’s scoring when he comes into the middle mate. Just hope January changes some things for us. We can’t keep going with Dessers and Lammers for a start.

He's coming into the middle from wide, massively different to starting off in the middle though.

We got an update on Raskin and Jack but did he mention Roofe? He was on the bench on Thursday but not yesterday. IF fit he’s got to be a better option than Dessers.

Good record and fair enough, however this will be a test of character if nothing else given the relapse into the same old routine against Sheepie and the Cypriots, and especially with Hearts finding a wee bit of form with 4 wins on the bounce. Will not be betting any money on this one, too tight to call.
