Btw that's the first goal ive ever seen chopped by var for encroachment but I probably don't watch as much fitbaw outside us that others do.

We had one chopped off/retaken against Sparta Prague on the run to Seville I'm sure

Can't see Sima starting. Also a bit concerned about Diomande. Tidy player, don't get me wrong, just not sure he's built for these games

Hope to fuck someone is quoting me next week and laughing like fuck at me.

Miles off it with diamonde, am sure he's got a bit of an appalling red card record.  Edit: it's yellows

He's wirey, and has quality.

Think youre a bit off with that one mate

Not seen the goal back but looked a bit easy.

Other than that the defence v good (except Barasic).

Midfield all played well.

Wright and Silva poor.

McCausland I just don’t see it. Looks miles off being a threat at this level.

Dessers nothing we didn’t know.

Matondo starts next week on the left.

Sima will take time to get back to full speed.

Why not have Silva in the middle where he is supposed to play? Not sure Diomande is ready for an old firm game

That sounds familiar yeah, think we were all pretty raging about that as well, but its not something you see a lot of. And its literally millimetres in it.

Good win which is all that matters, performance not so good.

Souttar had a good game, was solid at the end in particular

Ref was on a level of his own with how bad he was.

Don’t know what the fuck happened at their goal

Not seen it back yet but their goal looked fucking howling

Diomande was superb in the middle today. Often by himself with Lundstram dropping into the back line and Cantwell often caught wandering. Always wanted the ball and found alot of space.

I'm more worried about other positions than his.

Yeah, I thought Barisic was poor: one dimensional in attack and flimsy in defence.

Maybe you don’t appreciate it on the tele.

But would think most who were at the game thought Diomande was good today.

Took the ball constantly under pressure and in tight spaces and looked to play forward

I'll laugh at you now mate. Diomande is a star in the making. There is a reason he doesn't get subbed in tight games. His defensive work is incredible. Sure, he is guilty of sloppy passing now and then, but he is still very young. A guaranteed starter next week. The type to get in McGregor's face, although I doubt he will play.

Diamonde is like Sterling and Cantwell, in that if he loses the ball through his own error he busts a gut to get it back.

A highly commendable trait and exactly the sort of player we need to start against the filth.
