I wasn't as complimentary even at half time as most. We still look to be struggling in a lot of areas and that was against a depleted Motherwell who will be fighting relegation this season. Not even a good team, but a mid table SPFL team would have punished us today. Balls into the middle of the park constantly unchallenged and starting every game two men down in Wright and Lawrence is on the manager as much as the players. Drop the ten and put another midfielder or another striker there.

One of the big things Clement went about time and again last season was the players fitness levels. We've barely played any matches this season, players look more tired than ever. Fuck knows how they're going to handle a whole season at this rate.

Don't know what happened in the second half but still a win is all that matters at this stage.  Hopefully with more games together the new players will improve and we can make another couple of good signings.

Also Balogun was shocking with his passing when he came on.  It definitely didn't help with the blood pressure!

Take the chances in the first half and you can justify the drop in the second half. Disappointed with the subs coming on and adding zero spark, considering the minutes McCausland, Dowell, Sterling and Matondo have had they should be looking much fresher than what they showed today.

It was a close game, we just saw what pushing Cortes too quickly did, we should be taking our time with Danilo who had a worse injury.

Point is that was a Motherwell side decimated by injury and we were hanging on defending long throws and corners. It's pathetic. When's the last time you saw the filth hanging on in Scotland against dross like that? Add in no game time again for Danilo Wright starting mediocre pish like McDowell and McCausland and it's deeply concerning. This squad won't challenge the bheasts for this title. Their 55th btw.

Cerny looked class. Expected a winger who likes to take his man on but was more like an advanced playmaker coming inside. Great goal.
