Set Piece Specialists?

After the arrival of a number of new players, who do you want to see hitting our corners, free kicks, set pieces and penalties? We've seen evidence from the new players, particularly Sean Goss, they are more than capable of giving us new options. What do you Bears think? It's been a while since we've seen a Tav screamer.

Was thinking the same about Tav, he used bang in free kicks from all angles but doesn't really take many now, I would hope we can improve on our corners now with the new signings as they are usually mince.

Goss and Tavernier stand over the ball whenever there's a free-kick and decide between them who will take it.  One's left-footed, the other right-footed, so it'll depend on the situation.

Was saying this to my boy at the game last week ( remember when Tav was scoring belters) 

We sit in line with 6 yard line in SJ and the free kick Tav scored against the spoon burners was a cracker.

Don't know how he went from being so lethal at free-kicks where he was odds on to score to being more likely to send it into the stands

With Auchenhowie you'ld expect to have plenty of options , particularly when it comes to free kicks , but it just never seems materialise for some reason .

Sean Goss has the best deadball delivery we’ve had for years, maybe since Neil McCann.We’ve had consistently poor set piece delivery over the years despite having technically good players.

only works if the players practise taking them.  Fergie often spoke about Cantona coming back after training and practising for hours, our players are either on social media or on the golf course

Not sure if he’s being told to do that or not because he showed in the Florida Cup for the first Morelos goal that he can whip them in low too. He’s impressed me so far has Goss

I think it's an massive exaggeration about him being an amazing dead ball specialist but totally agree about our set-piece taking despite having technically good players for me Arteta used to annoy me in that regard ... technically superb footballer but his corners never beat the first man on the post - frustrating as fuck and he's not the only one - as you say.
