As mentioned many times this isn't only about today. He's not good enough to play for us. Well perhaps in the board / dof / managers eyes but if we're ever gonna get ahead of them he's not the standard we need.

Totally disagree when he’s played he’s scored and if he had someone decent beside him he would score more. There’s no way he’s not good enough for us imo. We need to get back to basics and get someone playing just off him someone like a younger miller and that boy would score goals for us, play him up on his own and u get what we got. Put it this way he’s the least of our worries

If we had two up top, and a big front man like a Moult to knock things on, he'd be doing a lot better.  This 4-2-3-1 system isn't his strong suit.  As I said, Boyd is a penalty box striker just like Cummings and look at the job he's doing for Kilmarnock because they're playing to his strengths.

He's not good enough, nowhere near it, there's a reason he couldn't get in the Brighton team.

To think of some of the predictions been made for him when he signed, people seem to think because a player played in the vastly over rated English league that they will be stars up here, very rarely works like that.

Cummings isn't going to play well when we play to his weaknesses ffs. He at least showed a bit of effort closing their defence down, trying to hold up play, backing into their defenders, but we kept playing high balls to him, he's a fucking midget for fucks sake he's never going to win anything in the air against Ajaer and Boyata.

Complete lack of service as well but I will say that when Windass got a bit of space on the right Cummings made no effort to get into a decent position in the box.

We should still sign him as I believe a better manager and better players would get more out of him and for £600k it's worth a punt.

I think he is a decent goal scorer but proved again today , he cannot lead the line on his own.
