Now THIS is a real fucking chance to send a message. Get a good win today and put Brenda under pressure. He knows he has a massive financial advantage over us and should (on paper) be winning every fucking trophy this country has to offer at a canter. But consider this: 1. He is a fucking bottler. He is SCARED of the chase! 2. He has won all the honours up here and has it ALL to lose. 3. He is intimidated by Gerrard’s self-belief and winning mentality. 4. Deep down he knows he is a very ordinary cunt who got lucky. We might have weaknesses, but psychology plays a huge part in football and here we have a manager who is wobbly on confidence and a team of expensive players who (mostly) care about the money not the club. If we could somehow get ahead of these rancid bheggars ahead of the 29th then maybe, just maybe at Ibrox ... Now until January is going to define our season with a chance to close the gap, possibly even get ahead over the next few games and a chance to beat our psychological block against them at Ibrox. The Christmas period will show if we are genuine title challengers and I hope the players go out today and show they’re winners and they’re up for the fight. Then 3 off them just before the break Pena scoring a Hat-tirck and turning out to be actually fucking awesome, Davis signs in January and i'll be very happy with the start to next year. We looked for all the world like we would use our high press and give them a skelping in the OF. Matchday came and we went hiding - they are definitely vulnerable. Plenty points will be dropped by us and then between now and the end of the season. It won’t be long before the pessimistic moaners start their shite again even if we do win and sit top of the table again today. The league is best it’s been for years and years and we simply don’t have a huge array of far superior players compared to the squads of the others teams anymore.
