Struggling to break teams down

Without a couple of quality players we will finish second this season and maybe win a cup.We aren’t good enough to stop them right now although they are rotten at the back but they still have a couple of players that make the difference that we don’t.

Nothing to do with lack of creativity its to do with the fact we only use 60% of the pitch, we have no width and teams have spotted that right away so they flood their midfield and it stifles us

Play two fucking wingers and stretch teams, its not that hard

Spot on...we aint stretchinng teams....today we just didnt use the space so we could then run into the box at pace a put it on a plate for jd or AM to knock it in.

Don’t worry, despite needing a genuine creative threat all last season at least we spent £4m on a cb to sit on the bench...

Not any more. Katic will be the scapegoat for today because Goldson is undroppable so Helander will be playing as from now.

Problem again, bar Midtjylland we’ve struggled for chances/goals and the lack of creative quality is worrying. Arfield/Kamara have been woeful this season. Ojo is a comedy act aswell. Not holding out much hope for this season tbh.

The Player Gerrard was why’s he not saying to our midfield go fucking forward , should put the warm up goals on each touch line try and trick the cunts

Gerrards too negative as a manager. Has our middle 3 set up and doesnt allow/tell any of them to make runs beyond our forwards. Allow one to surge forward. Get alf on with 2 wingers either side and stop this arfield as a winger pish. Forrest/mcgregor/christie/edourd/johnston. All players celtic give license to surge forward. What he done today was fucking criminal. If the fans felt deflated once that line up came out 100% certain players would have too. He fucked up so much today. I still cant fathom why he done that today

Agree with all, but there is still some hope.

When it takes twenty passes to gain ten yards, the lesser teams will sit in as planned, whilst the better and not by much, the scum will attack and laugh at you.

It's box to box in the short as time possible to stop giving the oppo the time to think and settle. We are so ponderous and predictable going forward, paint dries quicker.

Not to worry its only September..

"season hasn't started","transfer window isn't even closed yet", "only one loss", "team needs time to gel", "will get fixed when the transfer window opens", "manager can clear out the dead wood now the seasons over". Same cycle of excuses every year.

We are so slow at getting up the park, for the last 4/5 years playing them, they’ve been so quick turning from defence to attack, yet when we do it it’s 7/8 passes then turn back, time we’ve done that they have all their players back and the chance is gone. It’s fucking pathetically bad.

Quality over quantity. That was the mantra we heard going into the window.

We've done the opposite and just went with quantity again.

The recruitment team has built a squad instead of a first team, and filled it with bang average players.

We needed 3-4 first team ready quality players to improve. Bumping other players we had down to being the sqaud options.

That kind of quality requires money to be spent. So far we've only spent big money on a CB. I don't see that changing with the window shutting tomorrow.
