They both bring different qualities ,Lampard would have a similar star quality that G had with the players .

GVB Has more experience of actually building a side etc ,The star quality he had wouldn’t be as significant as Lampards as most of the squad would be too young to remember him playing .Even though it’s arguable that GVB played at an even higher level .

Yeah I get the star EPL factor that would come with Lampard and would be advantageous given our current squad make up but if he was successful he is going back down to the EPL quicker than the tranny shagger or SG imo.

I think he did a decent job 1st season then lost the plot when he got the chance to spend.

His first competitive team that beat Man U 4-0 was

Kepa

Azpilicueta Zouma Christensen Emerson

Kovacic Jorginho Barkley

Pedro Abraham Mount

Its not exactly a shite hand he was dealt 😃😃

I think that team is howlin tbf😂

He was gash in his 2nd season though, his signings were terrible

TBF I don't think Chelsea managers tend to get a lot of input in signings. Been stories of their managers moaning about players they didn't want.

First choice is gio for me. As he's got trophies on his CV already.

Lampard I reckon would do well here if given the chance.

Just noticed ,somebody has retracted their McInnes vote ,14 now it was 15 earlier ,Must be somebody from Dundee 😁

Cunts name should never have been on the poll tbh. If cunts complained about it not being there, we would’ve found out the taig tendencies. 😉

Can’t be turning your nose up at a guy who got Derby to the Play off final in his first season and achieved a top 4 finish in the premier league, something that Sarri couldn’t achieve the season prior. He literally has a better resume than our last 4 managers combined (at the time of their appointment).

Lampard or Gio, id be happy either way, 2 big names that can attract players.

thing is Chelsea had a transfer ban in his first season.  Give any manager 200million and chances are they are going to be like a wean in sweatie shop and just buy shite cause they can lol  - though saying that Havertz is not bad

thing is he inherited a poor team compared to the other top 6 and was hamstrunged for first year whilst the rest improved yet actually done well so if can't get Gio then would defo take Lampard.

If they end up in the championship, thats a hard league to get out of with lots of big teams. He would have a tough job, would probably fail, and that would be the end of his career. Wise move maybe.

He made good signings on paper, Mendy has turned out to be a top keeper, Havertz and Werner were quality in Bundesliga but played like shite under Lampard.

Did Sarri not finish top 4 and win the Europa league and get to a league cup final In his final season ?

agree to disagree mate - Mendy was far better than kepa, Havertz just took a bit of time to settle but still showed in flashes and Werner has always been a bit hot and cold throughout his career.  Thing is any manager coming here is operating in a completely different ball park and your so called top players have an ego to match.  All symantics but just saying I would say most on here who voted Gio would have Lampard as their second choice.

oh and for what it's worth he was a better player than Gerrard anyway lol
