Think folk are forgetting before Gio came in, bar the first old firm at Ibrox he’s looked done. And a decent performance against st Mirren won’t change my mind on that.

Steven Davis is our midfield metronome who - when in form - makes the team tick. He has been massively underused recently but surely will now play in the two massive games coming up.

He is too old, too slow, cant tackle (shat out of another 50/50 today) and rarely plays a forward pass of note. 

In saying that due to the poor form of others he should be getting a start against some of the dross in the league.

Braga have scraped a 1-0 away win at a lowly side, with 10 men for the whole of the 2nd half.

Seems they’re a side that will protect the zero, but ain’t that bothered about what happens at the other end (despite their general good play).

47 goals in 29 league games supports that.

St. Mirren have won 1 game in 9 mate. Could quite honestly understand why folk wouldn’t have much confidence going into Thursday, it wasn’t exactly pleasant viewing in Portugal Braga should be heavy favourites tbh, tie could’ve been over and personally think we’re quite fortunate for it to be only 1-0.

He'll keep the ball better than Kamara imo, couple of questionable things from him today but I'd say that's more down to him not having much football lately, he's not perfect but the ball out of defence was more secure looking when he came on, I hope he's a starter on Thursday.

S Davis is not too old nor is he the answer going forward, But he has been the best professional at the club and I still trust him more than Arfield or the recent Kamara next game.

And Sands can't even lace his boots at this time. In time, perhaps he can...

Jack or lundstram allows the others to go forward, but both jack and lundstram wont shit out of tackles and can actually move forward themselves,

Plenty of teams who play a high press have a midfielder who sits deep and is the starting point for attacks but you are smart enough to already know that.
