Gio is absolutely PERFECT for this style. We will be fine.

Morelos doesn't need dropped he needs sold. His time is up and we need to get a new number 1 striker to lead the line. He's been off it for for far too long now and we need to move on from him.

Would be more than happy for Gio to sell a few of the valuable players, give him as much percentage of that pot as we can and let him re-invest in some new players

Sell Goldson in Jan and bring in his replacement. Barisic is also on the wane and if we could still get a decent fee for him, I’d be tempted to sell and reinvest in an alternative. 
 

Sort the midfield out, Jack/Kamara at the base and Aribo on the left side and Hagi on the right in front. Bacuna and Arfield as backup, probably see if we can get a fee for Lundstram as he won’t fit into a 4-3-3.

 

Get Morelos playing off the last defender rather than coming short, he’s never ever ever a false 9 and has flattered to deceive there for best part of 18 months.

Putting the armband up for grabs number one, bringing balance back tactically number two. How a world class midfielder like Gerrard abandoned the central areas of the pitch tactically relying on throwing balls in from wide is criminal. That midfield has been a problem for years, at the end of every season on this site most people have said the midfield should be top priority. There's no cohesion between defence, midfield and attack, just players who are stuck rigid in the system playing the same way over and over regardless of wether it is working.

I don’t think he is. 4-3-3 with two proper wingers and a midfielder always looking to break forward to join in attacks apparently.

If anything Gio is going to go much more offensively, he's been criticised previously for being weak defensively. Think it's going to be more about whether we can outscore the other team, good for the league but not for Europe.
