We have not learned from mistakes of the past. Soon as the government announcement was confirmed.

We should have been proactive. Statement straight out that we will comply with the government regulations and that the fixtures need to be completed as is. 

Instead scumbag fc are streets ahead again in setting the narrative of it's for the fans and best for Scottish football that we break early.

What are you actually on about  

You said give them what they want and bring the break forward, I'm asking you why you want to do that when it isn't going to make a difference to fans getting into the games? All it does is make them stronger and us weaker

There’s absolutely no chance that postponing for 3 weeks allows fans to be in so makes it pointless. If you are indeed doing it to ensure fans are present then the games need rescheduled & trying to find space for at the very least 3 games isn’t feasible!

That would seem the common senses thing to do, but we are not dealing in common sense, we are dealing with one club seeing a possible advantage by bringing the break forward, Scotland in 2021.

It's not just setting the narrative. The club need to be telling fans what their position is and how they intend to progress with games on a BCD basis. We have 40 odd thousand season ticket holders who again are not going to be able to get full value for what they paid for.

It's not like this was a wildly unlikely scenario. The club should have had preparations and a plan in place for going BCD and it doesn't take 24 hours to knock up a release updating supporters in that. 

All they have to issue is a statement which:

- States the club's position in relation to proposed moving of the winter break

- What the club are doing to prepare for further games BCD

- How ticketing arrangements will work for 500 places

To be honest I don't see what the board could usefully say at this time. This vote is going to be passed anyway.

Perhaps better to make a statement tomorrow pointing out the folly with no crowds expected before March/April.

We have to absolutely insist any rescheduling doesnt unfairly effect us due player availability. If we dont at least do this then we may as well chuck it.

Scottish Premiership clubs have been asked to vote on when the winter break should be introduced.

The three options are to pause as planned after 3 January, start the break after the Boxing Day fixtures or begin the hiatus before Sunday's games.

There's a pretty big open goal for Rangers to focus on in any statement, if boxing day games go ahead with no fans and the following 2 are postponed to allow fans back in it means certain clubs are going to lose out financially and some aren't, that's not fair at all.
