We literally brought him on to wave goodbye to the support in the SC final. Just embarrassing. Completely get you on the last part and didn’t expect him to be back but we’ve kept a few of these for the dressing room I feel and now they’re actually trying to keep the dream alive due to shit recruitment like Davis and Arfield who let’s be honest with any ambition shouldn’t be starting players anymore. McLaughlin showed that he isn’t #1 material with a couple of shockers and put us in this position.
DrLaudrup 4,677
One of the only positives to come out of the last few weeks is that even though he is past his best he is clearly our number one goalkeeper. superallysbears 7,635
I'm sure the Liverpool goalie would have struggled to perform as well as shagger did had he faced the same onslaught, let that sink in. NI and Boybluesy

Its difficult to know in retrospect, but I feel we may not have conceded some poor goals especially in the earlier games of the season. Also, he is better at organising the defence in front of him which is useful if we are struggling.

Mor3los_1 3,672
Showed his deficiencies tonight, Liverpool at 6 shots in the 2nd half and they all went in. Exactly what was happening last season with him. Combined with the fact he struggles to pass out and is far to slow when he does. Badly need a new GK. When will this lad be given a chance of a run in the team when he has been called upon he has done well. Will he be the answer to a full time number 1 probably not but we need to give the boy at least a fucking chance? plymouthranger and Negri's lovechild

If it wasnt for him it was have been this score both games. He was at fault for a couple but this is unfair on him. 100% we should have signed a new keeper though - its not down to him, its down to recruitment. Jamesy1872 420
If it wasn’t for McGregor it would have been the same or more last week. He didn’t have his best game tonight obviously but there is far bigger problems than him.
Dado'sMulls 2,621
Playing with ten men, need the ball to go out of play to get Davis on and McGregor has the ball in his hands. Thinking great, punt it out for a shy but naw, he boots it straight back to Liverpool who then play it up the park and get a shot away in our box. That fucking infuriated me. Did he concede every shot on target last week like? Maybe if outfield players knew what the game plan was or won a tackle instead of running about like headless chickens then he would have less to try and save in the first place.
