Europe 23/24

Surely you want to play against the best.

Just because we got an absolute spanking this season doesn’t mean it will happen again next time round.

CL qualification might also help persuade a better.l calibre of player with several offers on the table to choose Rangers.

It's the money more than anything, we simply need it if we want to kick on.

Can't have them raking in that and us missing out.

Marseille or PSV in the play off round most likely. Who is in the 3rd round @Bronzy

As it stands (assuming highest seeds go through):

Union SG (potentially Antwerp or Genk depending on league finish)

Sturm Graz

Dnipro (potentially Zorya depending on league finish)

Backa Topola

Servette (or potentially Lugano depending on league finish) and Panathinaikos are unseeded in the second round and could replace Union SG or Dnipro in that list if they beat them.

Dont particularly fancy any of those trips, maybe Belgium or Switzerland.

I know we got roasted in the CL, but we’re quite a good side in Europe.

Will be basically a new team this time around so we need to hope we hit the ground running from the off.

Maybe a PSV will be a bit too soon but not seen them much this season bar the games with us.

Psv started the season well and then hit a run of poor results before going on a run again but the damage was pretty much done. There's rumours that veerman and Simons will be leaving them this season so they might be going through a transition along with a new manager.

Graz is a decent trip but the stadium is pretty small so limited chance of tickets.

Serbia is a dismal place going off Belgrade.

RVN left them and they are a few players weaker now.

Our coefficient means that we are a seeded team for the qualifiers so every chance of making the group stages again. A kinder draw than last season with the goal of finishing 3rd and the parachute into the knockout stages of the Europa does not seem like an impossible dream.

We will basically have a new team. Hopefully a  good well drilled one that clicks straight away.

Beale’s system / style hasn’t changed much from the performance in qualifiers and groups pre-Gio. Feel quite confident about Europe with him in charge.

I dont think there is anything wrong with the system. I just hope the players are good enough to carry out the instructions. This is key in any team.

Will also be in pot 3 this year so in theory a fighting chance of Europa League or better after the 6 group matches.

Question is can all these players coming in hit the ground running. Lets hope so 🙏🏻

Worry is not many teams with as many changes as we are making click early on. Even those parasites across the city made a cunt of it at the start of their season under the fat worm.
